Semi-related, did anyone keep all of the tutorials and help site lists from a few threads back?

Do people usually go for Snazzaroo to grey up? I read that it was not highly regarded here, too blotchy, can sweat off, etcetera.

If you want water-based makeup I highly suggest Kryolan. I have no personal experience with Snazzaroo but a friend who used to use it now highly prefers Kryolan aquacolor!

I know for sure Paradise aq is blotchy as hell though.

So I'm going to be cosplaying Terezi and Dave in the future

That's strange - I personally think Mehron/Paradise AQ goes on as well as or better than Kryolan. It normally takes me 3-4 layers to get it super smooth through. It's really really not good for arms though.

Snazzaroo is like a slightly cheaper version of Kryolan/Mehron. The color is better than both of the higher quality brands but it's blotchier unless you're really good at getting the consistency right. For casual use or greying up once or twice though it's fine.

Out of curiosity, has anybody ever gotten the heart God-tier colors right? Everything I've seen up to now has been either too bright or clashing since those pinks are seemingly so difficult for people to get correct.

midtier is for people who have a good variety of cosplays. from what i've seen from her, she only has roxy and ms. paint, not really enough to warrant an upgrade to midtier
i've also heard that she basically bought a corset and slapped lace on it for the bodice of her dreamer gown, and though the cage skirt portion is nice, that doesn't really bespeak of good construction

Debatable imo. She has a shit ton of costumes, but her craftsmanship ranges from good to average. She was in mid tier when the list was made but she doesn't seem to be putting the same effort into her HS costumes anymore and is just coasting by on hotness. Her trickster dress is the only recent one I'd say is well made.

Hey /hsg/, what kind of lamp post globes do most doc scratch cosplayers use? I'm a bit worried about buying one and making sure that it will not show any exposed neck. Is there a way that doc scratches keep it steady on their shoulders so that it doesn't wiggle around and such? Maybe some foam or something around the neck opening?

I'm probably not the first to say this, but the Mid Tier list should definitely be updated. A lot of these people seem like they should be moved to Pretty Tier. I haven't heard of half those people either, or at least from what I have heard of some it wasn't good. Also I would like to say that I think Ceriene should be moved up. She's done a good amount of impressive costumes, such as her Mindfang, fancy dreamer Vriska (most fancy dreamers are shit and her's was actually good) and Spidermom. I have rarely heard anything good about MF, MurtunaCaptor, HokaidoPlanet, or Cancerously here, so I'm questioning why they're in Mid Tier? I think GentlemanlySpam changed their URL to PapayaMaryam. Like others said, Hanyaan isn't in the Homestuck Fandom anymore. I don't actually know what they've done other than Kurloz? That was the only cosplay of their's that I've ever heard anything about (which was still great, but that is only one costume). Where do you guys think SolluxCaptor stands on this chart? Also Sewthougthful? I know she doesn't obsess over Homestuck like 90% of the people here, but her costumes are pretty good from what I've seen. All in all though this list still needs a lot of adjustments.
