Just going to throw my 5 cents in here. The Ivies that are literally only just covering their nipples and genitals because being naked is illegal, and also to get max. attention.
That said, I am female and believe what I choose to wear and why is no one business. There are a lot of valid points here. But honestly, if you go to a con in a thong and nipple pasties chances are you are trying to get beta male attention. If someone dresses up to get male attention then that's there deal. If someone wants to wear heels and make up everyday, that their deal.
Women dress up because yes, they want attention - either from men, or other women. But a lot of women also dress up for themselves...Shocking, I know.

For example, I never wear heels and only wear make up when I go out to an event. I am generally dressed very casually...But SOMETIMES I want to feel good about myself, so I might put on a little make up and wear something a bit nicer if I am going out (usually to the shopping centre or something). I'm getting sick of all these men yelling feminazi because women say they dress for themselves. But I think it is equally as foolish on this thread that all these females are saying women only dress for themselves or other women. I actually used a strapless shapewear bodysuit that snaps in the crotch.Then added clear straps to it. The ivy was just glued on while I was wearing the bodysuit.

I actually made this the week prior to Free Comic Book day, and it need some major toucu-ups before I am really happy with it. It served it's intended purpose though.
