I'm thinking of buying these boots but it's my first time purchasing something in Bodyline so I don't really understand their size chart. I'm a US size 8 1/2. What would be the closest match?

>> No.6857382

measure your foot in mm from heel to the longest point of your toes, that's the size you get.

>> No.6858151

>>6857358
If it helps, I'm typically a US size 7 and I ordered a 23.5, though they were a little big on me but not uncomfortable to wear, I just wore real thick socks - I probably should've gotten a 23, though I can't remember if they were out of stock since according to the chart a 23 would be accurate for US 7. Also I probably was concerned of them running small, and rather they fit a bit big than too small when I ordered. 24.5 should be just fine for you!

I think these shoes are so cute, and that thing in the front is detachable so if it looks really tacky, I could just remove it.

But I'm really confused about the sizing chart?
I measured my feet and they're 25.5 cm, but I'm not sure how that translates into body line sizes.

The only sizes available for this shoe is 245 or 260, so I'm guessing I should order 260? Or should I not order it at all?

Did anyone else cave in from the last bodyline thread and buy Costume 295? I did, no regrets, though I would change a few things. Pic related, that's my left hand. Notice anything? Here are the minor things I'm tweaking:

> Remove buttons, and stitch a small black fabric patch inside the sleeve, under the button holes. Sew buttons, through the button holes, to that patch (so it looks buttoned but they are attached on the same side as the holes instead of the opposite). Sew snaps to other side of fabric patch (inside of sleeve) and then to where the buttons would be if they were on the other side. Cuffs are now in correct direction and easy to snap shut (unless you can dislocate your thumb, you must unbutton/rebutton to wear this).

> Seam rip that dickie and add snaps all the way around so it is completely removable (currently only one side unsnaps) and replace those buttons with metal anchor buttons (they at currently fabric).
>Replace that shiny ribbon trim on collar, skirt and sleeves with something higher quality.

I've gotten a bodyline wig before and it's surprisingly good quality! I got w064 in black. It's not shiny, the fibers are soft, it's not too thin, and it's comfortable on my head. Really good for the price, I'd say.
To my recollection, the size table doesn't actually have anything to do with size. I remember the numbers being related to the colors (e.g., there are multiple shades under the 'dark brown' category and they are numbered).

I can't decide if this is ita or not. I saw it on my dash with over a hundred notes. Is it itas reblogging it or am I missing something here?

It looks like it's going for fairy kei rather than lolita. As lolita it's ita, yeah, but as fairy kei it's pretty cute.

>> No.6881560

Original tags on the original picture included sweet lolita.
Guess it is ita then.

>> No.6881567

>>6881560
Is it really ita if it's still cute? I would rather call it a bit experimental or unconventional lolita rather than ita, considering that means it's something awful to look at.

I'm just confused why it isn't lolita? It has the skirt, and with a petti it would have the silhouette too. The coord is also really cute, just maybe a bit unconventional. What makes it ita?

I'm also interested as to why it's not lolita, despite it fitting the aesthetic.

I think it's because the vest takes away from the classy victorian-esque essence and makes it seem more pastel 90's than lolita. Just my opinon, ofc.

Um, lolita doesn't have to look victorian-esque though. If it had to, wouldn't this + most of OTT sweet be ita too?

Okay then, maybe I worded it wrongly. The vest doesn't go with the outfit by anything other than color. A motorcycle style vest seems out of place.

>> No.6882021

>>6881907
As the anon above me said, it's the vest. It gives the outfit this leisure and casual look that looks more fairy kei than lolita. I don't want the girls here to get there bloomers in a knot so if you think it's lolita, that's fine but I don't see it as such.

>> No.6882205

>>6881920
But that's not even close to what you originally said. You specifically brought up a "classy victorian-esque" appearance, and now you're backtracking to "well the vest doesn't go with the outfit!"

Right. I dunno why I said "victorian-esque blah blah", I really don't remember what the fuck I was thinking. I've been drunk all day today and so kind of forgot how nit-picky seagulls get about their clothes. Oh well. Either way it's not like it matters- weather or not it's lolita doesn't matter to whoever wants to tag it with whatever on tumblr, like so:

>#pastelohimegyaru #spank-kei #babysweetlolita #me #personal #casual #WAYWT #rainbowgoth #GLBTQ* #femmeFTM #f2femboi #coord #transethnicC2A

(Pretty much the only coherent thoughts I have right now are "I want mushroom pizza" and "goddamn, I hate tumblr". So if I ever had a point, it's goen now.)

How's the customer service in there? Anything weird? Did the place smell bad or anything like that?

Thank you in advance, anon.

May seem a bit strange, but how does purchasing wigs from the actual store go down?
Is there a chart with all the colours and you just find the number of that colour in a pile of wigs for that specific style?

Some costumes are hit and miss. I got two costumes, Alois Trancy and MC from Uta no Prince-sama. I can post some pictures if you want. The Utapri costume is really nice actually, the blazer is nice with the patch however the dress is a bit short. Alois came with lots of parts which was nice when it was pretty cheap, the shorts didn't fit though but the jacket looked good.

The staff were pretty friendly and happy to help you out. The place didn't smell and it was one of the bigger shops in the street. You can't try on anything though and no photos and no returns. The staff double check though with the things you want before you buy it and ask if that is what you want/are you sure. Another thing is that you can get the staff to keep a pile for you while you look around and then pay all at the end.

>>6884262
They have the wig styles on display and you politely ask staff for the kind of colours you want to see in that style and they grab them for you. There was some colour testers to the side which could make it easier if you are looking for a specific colour. Some wigs only have certain colours though.

Yes actually. It reminds me of my own work and how we have the same few songs on loop and we haven't got a new CD in for over 4 months now and we can't play anything else. I'm sure the workers have drowned it out but loud remixes of disney hits is a little in your face.
