I did have makeup on. Though unfortunately I was stuck working in a booth the entire con so, not exactly fresh faced for photos since these were taken around 11PM. II probably didn't go heavy enough on the basics, and I do admit I still have trouble putting false lashes on, especially since I'm blind in one eye.

Yeah. I tend to go lighter on the makeup, and I really can't pick and choose what I can get since it's not like I had time to really set up any kind of nice photography shoots. I just had to stick with what I could get with a friend. Even if it's not the best. Unfortunately I don't couture or highlight, so my makeup looks more like everyday where then anything else.

Contouring and highlighting will be your best friends if you learn it and trust me it's not hard to learn, even done minimally will improve your photos by A LOT.

Honestly one of the best Pluto cosplays I've seen. I love the material you used for the bow, skirt, and flap (I forgot what they're called), it's not as shiny and thin looking as the satin most SM cosplayers use. Thank you very much! For our group, we used a bridal-style dull satin for the skirts/sailor collars and taffeta for the bow (which I think works really well for Pluto since her bow color varies based on the artwork). The Garnet Rod actually is just dowel rods glued together, save for the top part, so I'm lucky it photographs so well. And yeah, about the skirt, like I said above, it's mainly to create more of an illusion of ridiculously long legs and to match the rest of my group.

I made the mistake of using polyester fiberfill to fill the ears instead of something that holds shape better, like craft foam with wire. The same thing happened to our Sayaka. Another learning experience, haha

It's okay. I'm actually pretty overweight(By like, 30 or 40 pounds). The one issue with Jupiter is that the boots cut right into my calf which accents it more since most of my weight carries in my legs. If it had been wearing say boots like Moon or Mercury, or heels like Mars or Venus. It wouldn't have been so noticeable.

You should really use a binder to bind your chest. Sailor Moon doesn't have a huge chest, only big enough that the bow covers most of it. As much as having a huge chest can add to a cosplay, it does the opposite for Sailor Moon, it takes away from it. I think it would look a lot better if they weren't a focus.

Also you could try puffing up your sleeve rolls, I think that would really add to it too.

Valkyrie from Big Wow Comic Fest, my newest. Big Wow was kind of a dry run, because holy shit so much went wrong with this costume. I've got lots to remake now, especially those damn boob bullseyes.

My latest, random Attck on Titan soldier at Animazement this year. Yes I realize it's inaccurate as hell, complete with impractical heels, but for a fun costume put together 4 days before a con its quickly becoming my favorite

I guess this would be my most recent in terms of 'worked on it recently.' I actually started constructing it and wore it to Dragon*con 2012, but did some changes since then. No wig in this picture because the wig got mangled beyond saving by the valet, and I'm still saving up for a new one.

My biggest changes I want to make are:
