Boob Padding. Now everyone is doing it.

Personally, I like boobs that are natural looking. Why do girls want to look like they have a fake chest?

>> No.6871299

It's like you've never played Tomb Raider.

>> No.6871303

Some characters look like they have fake chests. If I were to ever cosplay a Devil Survivor character, I'd use the most unrealistic padding possible.

>> No.6871307

Same reason they wear makeup, heels, body shapers, corsets and other shit. Women lie about these things, always have and always will.

I think it's funny how some men blame women for trying to meet the unrealistic sky-high standards that this society has made for women.

because sometimes flatter girls want to cosplay booby characters. if they can get away with it, who cares?

Am I the only straight male who hates the look of high heels, doesn't care at all about chest size, and thinks "everyday" makeup looks tacky and plastic even when used sparingly?

>>6871332
>Take it all away and a lot of us just look like oddly shaped boys

And I am actually more okay with this than the above. A girl with confidence in herself is far more appealing to me than one with confidence in her clothes and cosmetics. But sadly that apparently makes me an anomaly.

If true, I am amazed. Most men don't notice makeup unless it's piled on to drag queen levels.

And because of that I wonder if most men ever spend more than 10.83 minutes appreciating a woman's physical appearance.

I had to Google dirty things to get that number...

My ex of 5 years was allergic to the oils used in makeup and never wore it, so I very much know what a girl not wearing it looks like thanks.

Not all men are narrow minded with expectation formed from fiction. But depressingly many are.

This really goes to show that women are the uglier gender. They primarily make themselves attractive through deception; guys do it through hard work. It's like men are superior in every aspect.

>> No.6871466

>>6871416
No, you are not a special snowflake for prefering 'no makeup'. And most girls you encounter will most likely be wearing makeup, whether you notice it or not. I've had guys insist I don't wear makeup, when I wear at least BB cream and mascara, if not more, daily.

Because if it weren't for makeup, much more men would be gay.

People wonder why the ancient Greeks were "such massive faggots" when in fact they only preferred the company of men because men are just way more handsome.

In my opinion, a perfect world would be where women would be subservient cattle for breeding; the really pretty ones would be used for exotic sex for the daring; while real life partners would be other men (usually older man seme and younger man uke).

A gay paradise. Just imagine how amazing that would be. I wish there was some mind control drug that would turn all men gay and make me the ruler of the Brave New Gay World to boot.

Implies you think you're special for having this opinion. You're definitely a special snowflake.

As for your ex, just because you've seen one girl never wear makeup, doesn't mean you're an expert in makeup vs no makeup. Just because you think a girl's not wearing makeup, doesn't mean she isn't.

No dumbfuck, you're being called a special snowflake because you're framing a, quite honestly, not all that unusual preference about how women choose to look in a manner that makes it seem like you're this mind-blowing saviour to women's self-esteem and gender roles.

>> No.6871589

>Implies you think you're special for having this opinion. You're definitely a special snowflake.

Okay fine you can have that one, I snowflaked out. Just reread it as a genuine question then, because no guy I know, in my personal but limited experience, has.

>As for your ex, just because you've seen one girl never wear makeup, doesn't mean you're an expert in makeup vs no makeup.

No but that doesn't change the fact I can say without lying I was more attracted to someone who wasn't wearing it than people who were. That doesn't make me "special" for, just, you know, saying that it's a possible thing for people to think.

>Just because you think a girl's not wearing makeup, doesn't mean she isn't.

Well we spent most of that time sharing accommodation and a bedroom. She wore makeup only for cosplay, because it was the only time it was worth the hassle of testing and researching them to see what she could and couldn't wear, and even then, that was makeup exclusively for things like facepaints, or crossplaying to look LESS feminine.

I wouldn't normally really feel like defending myself for saying something positive but it's just something I feel strongly about, and not just for women. I'm just a strong believer in people looking like what makes them happy before what makes others happy, but the unfortunate truth for women is that the higher expectations for them to look that certain way perpetuate unhappiness in not looking that way.

Well that's just, you know, my input on it. I don't really see anything in there that should be "called out" in such a negative way beyond being a minor special snowflake in my hotheadedness, but people gonna think what they think. Opinions and all that.

look dude you seriously have a point about unhealthy beauty standards -- but the truth is that for every woman who feel pressured into the makeup style of the day there's going to be another who does it because it makes them happy, you know?

the thing is, there is literally no way to tell these women apart unless you speak to all of them, so the best course of action is to butt out. i know that sounds harsh but it's the best way to avoid being called a snowflake about the issue. i totally agree that women should follow beauty standards that make them happy before anything else, but you can't just start yelling about it the way you did because you make it sound like

a) you're super unique desu

and b) that all women who follow mainstream beauty standards are doing it because they feel like they have to and not because they want to.

you seem like a chill guy, you just gotta remember that every single person is different. :3

Yeah, I recognise it, I just have horrible wording. My point wasn't that these things are inherently bad. What is inherently bad is them being an expectation as opposed to an option. You just hit the nail on the head with that phrasing and I salute you for it. Thanks for being upfront about my poor choice of wording and impolite impatience, and taking the time to point them out.
