Is the Expo happening this year? There's been no information!

Are you cosplaying?

>> No.6864460

Apparently you don't know how to read because
>See you next year September 28-29th 2013
is right on the front page of their website.

Wow, first time I come to /cgl/ and I get this response. No wonder this board has a bitchy reputation.

Yes, it's supposed to happen in September but there's been no information on guests or anything yet

>> No.6864483

>>6864474
Not that Anon, but that wasn't even all that bitchy. Always check the website.

Anyway, sometimes cons are really slow at updating information. There's one that I go to that doesn't get the schedule up until less than a week before the con starts.

Just keep checking once a week or so and hopefully they'll post what you're looking for.

I checked the fucking website you dumb bitch, I was pointing out there's been no activity on the facebook page nor the website

Clearly you didn't you mongoloid retard since you didn't know the date. Go cry about your hurt feelings somewhere else.

not op but as an alberta resident we get the worst selection of cons. Have to enjoy what you get...

>> No.6864501

>>6864494
Where did I ever say that I didn't know the date? I didn't because I did you inbred retard. I said I didn't have INFORMATION. Information on guests, events or even vendors.

>> No.6864531

I've been a little worried myself, op. I was expecting at least one guest announcement at CCEE but that didn't happen.
Last year (the first year they ever had the con) they brought in Misha Collins, Burt Ward, Julie Newmar, Lee Majors + more. It'll be hard to top that as a new con. :( I'm thinking this year will not be as good

>> No.6864539

>>6864501
You didn't specify what information you were looking for, which would encompass dates but keep backtracking if it makes you feel better.

You're question about everything else was answered right here >>6864483

but you're getting assmad because somebody didn't hold your hand for you on the internet.

You made this same fucking thread twice a month since the last expo if you're so worried about the event why don't you contact the execs to find out what's going on instead of being a vapid moron on 4chan

If you would actually read before getting angry you would see I said, >Wow, first time I come to /cgl/ and I get this response. I've never made a post here, have only heard about it through friends and never will again.

I thought the alberta community was supposed to be helpful. Disappointing....

I didn't go last year because I expected it to be terrible, regret that decision! I'm hoping they're planing something great and that's what the wait is for!

>> No.6864552

Take a deep breath.....expo is nothing to get angry about. Why does it matter if guests haven't been announced yet, you'll go anyway. Just chill and wait.

If I recall, I thought they mentioned something about Animethon 20 not being a possibility due to the lack of volunteers and whatnot, but I'm glad that the website did announce that there will be one this year.

Also, never been to the Edmonton Expo, but it wouldn't be out of line to wear a video game related cosplay, would it?

Not at all. The only people that stand out at CCEE and ECEE are the ones that go in anime cosplay. There's always a lot of video game cosplay

>> No.6865905

Definitely worth going, especially if you're in e-town. The only thing it doesn't have that ccee does is added size, and it'll get there eventually.
size and i guess those retarded fucking food trucks.

But they had them at Ota and didn't that make it oh so awesome.

Fuck Otafest. Overpriced garbage con. It's only 5 dollars cheaper than CCEE for a weekend pass. At least at CCEE I was able to meet actors I actually cared about. What can you do at Ota? Sit on the grass?

It's a great con if you don't pay for it.
