>IRT was cool this year. They did a good job controlling the elevators, which they used to neglect pretty badly.

Oh and yeah the panels were complete horseshit. Barely any were about actual anime or games or what have you. Some were honest repeats of the same topics. I think it was just people trying to get their free tickets, goddammit. However, spontaneous events I found fun. That electronica DJ on the LL floor on the first day was pissing me off. The poor poor Hilton - I liked the set up two years ago, where some panels spilled over there. The vidya room was kind of shit, no goddamn space. And of course, elevator HELL. But like I said, spontaneous events. All that Mafia/Werewolf, so much goddamn fun.

Am I the only one who had fun talking with the hotel staff? That blonde night receptionist was seriously hella adorable, and very very nice too.

Yeah I thought they dropped the ball in terms of panels. What the fuck happened to actual fun panels that got the audience interested and involved like Whose Line is it Anime? A lot of the panels I went to felt unrehearsed and were awkward presentations of stuff most of the panel attendees knew already, and ended with a Q&A session with less than a quarter of the panel's inital population. Thank god for the Oregon Trail panel, at least that was pretty funny and a lot of interesting things happened.

Also since acen is growing quite a bit, con staff needs to pick up on regulating photo shoots and line management. The vendor hall line management on Sunday was absolutely retarded. The conflict between the lingering Homestuck photo shoot and the Valve photo shoot and the constant relocation of the Persona shoot showed really poor crowd management on the con staff's part.

How would /cgl/ improve the masq line?

Every year people "hang out" in that hallway, more and more come to "hang out" closer to masq line time, and then somehow they form some sort of pre-line.
Tickets did not work well that year they tried it out, the big change to a con "tradition" caught many people by surprise (and how many people read the forums to catch up?) meaning more angry people, and also consider the general con population and the sale/theft of tickets.

Four Marths (two real marths, two Lucinas), two Sorens (but one each from PoR and RD), a Hector, an Eliwood that I loaned an extra sword to and a Ninian, a Titania that came halfway through, and a Tharja.
It was pretty entertaining, there was a decent amount of characters there I suppose so we got a few neat shots, though could've been more. I know I saw another Donny and a Panne on Friday, and I guess there must've been another Tharja too.

Haven't seen any uploads of the shoot, though, so I'd definitely be interested if anyone has one.

Yes, the game room was pretty garbage. I just kind of peeked in, played a round of Virtual On (which had fucked up sticks so that wasn't fun) and then left.

The problem with the con line was that it was in a different hall this year thanks to another con. Last year they had like two entrances and it worked out great, but this year they had the bullshit one entrance, one exit thing going on.

Personally, I saw less Homestuck and MLP then I did last year. I didn't see a Homestuck cosplay until about an hour into the dealer room, and I got into town on Thursday afternoon.

I was sadly surprised that there was less good cosplay this year. Not to say the cosplay was awful, it was just better last year. There were only a few people I wanted to take pictures of, and I ended up not even bothering with it.

Does anyone have any Sailor Pluto pictures? I'm looking for pictures of my costume and figured here might be a good place to check. I was the Pluto with the Uranus, Neptune, and Saturn or some combination of those three.

Last minute but I got so much recognition surprisingly. A lot of people liked it, only problem was the tattoo since I used permanent marker and it was smudging after awhile. Eh, Bad Anime Panel was pretty good. But we just had SO MANY FUCKING PANELS, every single one got shafted on space or flung to the far reaches of the con. I hope they tighten up admissions standards a little bit and expand into more of the convention center next year.

Their group was pretty awesome. I had the opportunity to talk to them when i was getting judged for the masquerade. The nightmare cosplayer was really cool though. I told him that everytime he leaned forward it looked like pacman. He proceeded to act like pacman and many lulz were had.
