Just anywhere you can actually hide the other ears so they don't have double. With Ampora wigs they should have fins over their ears and be styled around that. For peixes with long hair I think cheek fins are okay. With all that hair it would be hard to see their fins.

Getting the purple to match the symbol and the shirt and the gemstones and the shoes is a lot easier with fake hair. You'd have to get it right the first time or youd have to bleach it out again and that's super bad for your hair. Also you wouldn't be able to wash it before the con really because shock dye will lose shine and the shade will change starting from the first shampooing. Get a wig.

Conclusion: there has yet to be a 100% Eridan, and he is probably a really fun character to do shoots with.

General advice for Eridans:

>Make sure your cape is HQ with good fabric etc. It will probably be expensive.

My general advice when it comes to "stay to canon or not" is that you want to look like the character stepped out in the real world. If the jewelry (or anything for that matter) breaks the illusion there is nothing wrong with breaking a bit of canon. You will want to look good in your cosplay so that is also a thing to keep in mind, if something is not flattering on you you will want to change that.
