alot of the foam i cut isn't as smooth as it could be, and some of it was kinda rushed, or done on first tries which i'm aware is a no no but patience isn't one of my virtues when it comes to this stuff sadly, but I at least got the basic look down despite not being any sort super skilled costume designer. Let's face it, it's the Great Saiyaman, it can only look so good even if done professionally. I'm just gonna be walking around, dickin about as a cool character, and if someone wants a photo, cool beans yo.

She had the most awesome drill curls made but she got her hair/roots done the day before the con and the hairdresser changed the color so drastically that the drill extensions looked really really off :C

Posted this before but this is my most recent. 7-12 months of work. I ended up taking a year off in there at some point. Just had a case of "Fuck it all" after the belt skirt. Hand painted the details. Drafted the corset from someone's tutorials. I'll probably do embroidery at a later date. It was my dream cosplay to do ever since i played the game. I remember looking up costumes way back in the day when i wanted this and never dumped the 100+ dollars into some of those outfits. I'm glad i waited. I didn't make the wig or jewelry. I'll actually be making the wig at a later date. Just couldnt really dump more into it at the time.

I feel like the accents on the corset are too bright, they should be more of a grey as opposed to a white. The belts and straps look like they were just thrown on. For something like that, even if it takes more man hours than the rest of the costume and you think no one will notice, you should put as much effort in as you can, show that YOU care. The painting looks very nice however, though a little bright for the costume. All and all it looks nice, just little nit pickey things that I noticed.

I feel like i should have gone with a darker gray then because they're gray. I swear they are lol. I probably just went with too light of a color. had some other people on another forum say they were "Too white" and i'm like "Wat.". Guess i'll just have to go a few shades darker then. I spent about 3-4 months organizing those belts but no matter which way i put them it just looked odd. I had alot donated to me but meh. Honestly, i see so many people avoid the belt section like the plague. It's not easy that's for sure. If i need to i can rework things later. As far as the painting goes, yea it was a bit brighter than i anticipated. :/ You live you learn you know? This was only costume number 2 that i've ever made for myself. Was definitely hard but i wanted to do a few things to make this costume my own. Thank you, though. :)

My friend made the dress and choker for me, and a different friend took the picture. This is literally the only picture I have, because even though a bunch of people got pictures, no one posted them that I could find

I'd agree with the fact of too many accents on the costume, but Shaymin (at least in the movie) is very egotistical, so I wouldn't be shocked that Shaymin would be designed to have some sort of flair or gaudy look to it. But I think a different design in general would probably read for the shaymin gijinka besides having the signature flower and leaves in the wig, which looks nice~
