For next time, buy some makeup remover wipes. They're a god send against Ben Nye, trust me. You might have to use about 2-4 wipes depending how much paint you have on, but it's worth it and and pretty quick to do.
For next time, I reccommend using Studio 35 Beauty Makeup Wipes; they work superb and it's cheap. Neutrogena's are good too. You can pick some up at pretty much any drugstore.

The plastic would probably be a bitch to put holes in without shattering the whole thing, and I don't think it would look very good smothered in arcylic.

As someone who has tried the "oh, I'll cover something kind of shaped like how I want my horns to look with model magic and go from there" route, for me, it ended very, very poorly. It's really easy just to shape smaller horns out of model magic without bothering with a sculpted base. I'd do that instead.

I'll give you the Aradia's horn thing, since when she was first introduced they seemed to change from panel to panel (although considering that the Aries sign is so closely associated with the ram, ram horns should have been easy enough to figure out), but in every instance where we see troll tongues, they're always grey. I'm no expert on biology, but to me the notion of black tongues and lips just seems biologically unreasonable. Does troll blood oxidate black when it comes in contact with specific chemicals in their saliva, causing their lips to go from tinted to their bloodcolour to black or dark grey? Except there's a huge difference to the things you're comparing. Gradient horns have appeared in canon. Too severe an alteration will leave you looking like that bad short-skirted Kanaya a few posts up. If it's a barely noticeable, it's one thing. But you cannot dye your tongue for the purpose of cosplay. You have to make a conscious effort to go in and photoshop that into your pictures. It is not at all the same as selecting a more flattering shade of Lalonde blonde for your complexion.

My point is that I generally agree with people who decide to shoop it bloodcoloured rather than grey. While I agree that it isn't canon I stand by my opinion that it is an understandable artistic liberty. It was my first wig and I totally butchered the bangs. I can kinda pull it forward but the bangs are still just a bit too choppy. I'm thinking slightly longer wefts under the current bangs can stretch it out, look kinda okay, and hopefully not be too difficult to install.

Do you guys think this wig could be styled into a decent Equius wig? I decided that I didn't want to spend the money on a lace front for a wig that will be permanently tinted grey on the lace for a character I'll probably only wear a few times. I've seen a lot of Equius cosplays where the cosplayer just forgoes the widow's peak entirely and splits the wig to the sides but it usually doesn't look too great IMO.

Anyway, opinions would be appreciated. This wig? The no bangs style wig? What's better?
