Every time I go through mumuhome, I find about 50 thumbnails of things I really like. Of those 50 tabs that I open, I'll leave maybe two open at the end, because a) the design has a random applique that the thumbnail didn't show, which doesn't suit the design, b) it doesn't come in a colour that would be flattering on me, c) the size that would fit me is sold out, or d) the thumbnail was for a different item than I thought (skirt instead of blouse, tights instead of shoes, etc.). I wish that more of their floaty chiffon stuff came in neutrals or jewel tones. Pastels, especially pink and violet, look really awkward against my skintone.

They will only remove something if they have a firm belief that it's a fake, and even then, only a fraction of every parcel gets checked, something like 23% and everything else goes through an x-ray so don't worry. Hi guys. I'm back, but not for long. I feel good about my shopping addiction recovery. My #1 trigger is probably 4chan, as I used to spend all of my time in the Taobao threads or on Taobao, just lurking and mocking every person's small order.

Well, Spring Term started up and I ended up failing half of the classes I took last term and now I have to retake them. That's fine with me though, I could use my shopping money on schooling instead. Hell, if I didn't spend so much time online shopping, I wouldn't have failed those classes.

Anyways, I will be making my final Taobao order(s), and then I will be gone. Probably not forever, but long enough to forget about Taobao (well not completely) and just focus on school.

I pretty much stopped reading the archives of Taobao threads as well. I usually only skim through to find pictures or look at people's orders. My current order which I had confirmed is under $100. Yes, it is very small... But not shitty. No, not at all shitty. I think with shopping, I have to really re-think of what I'm going to buy, instead of just buying shit because it's cute/pretty although I may never wear it.

That being said, my current order was originally $600 (ordered nearly everything from coconuts, bobon21, etc), but I managed to cut it down to $80 (including domest shipping & fees).

Regular flowers from the craft store usually have a short stick at the back that is part of holding them together, so I don't think it would be easier unless you have a good source for flat-backed flowers. The hobby lobby around me only has one kind of rose like that, and they're not that cute. Like if they confirm it, you pay, and then the seller is suddenly out, do they refund you? Or use the money to pay shipping, or something else entirely?
