I live in New England (Vermont, specifically) and I swear to god, ALL of my friends seem to know her. She wasn't trying to make it 'hot' or sexual at all, it was like a day before the con and her shirt hadn't arrived in the mail yet so she just improvised with a really old shirt. I don't think she'd care anyways what people say about her cosplays, but i'm just saying that it wasn't meant to be hot or sexual. If she's got the body for it and can pull something that risky off because of cosplay complications and the mail, I'd say go for it, lol. Her cosplay was a hit because of her prop and how she made it light up. I think that's all she really cared what people said or talked about.

I like damaramegido/Gabbi (sp?). She seems really sweet and like a genuine person! And she is a lovely cosplayer. She does so many different characters, even outside of Homestuck.

I admire Mostflogged/Jenni's cosplays, but I'm a little unsure about her as a person. She seems very defensive to me, and some of the stories I've heard make me a bit wary of her.

Honestly, I don't think Heaven is that bad. Her only cosplay that was really horrible is her Meenah, and it looked like a rushed last minute thing so she could do a photoshoot with her friend. I sort of feel bad since a lot of Arizonastucks supposedly hate her, and she seems like she can be really nice at times too? I like her Roxy.

I like cowbuttcrunchies because of all the advice they give and how well constructed their cosplays are, I also like vintage-aerith, jadeb0t, yaexrae and there's probably more people I'm forgetting.

I think cod-tier is a sweet girl with a lot of potential and that /cgl/ is way too harsh on her. She's never been mean to anyone or pulled any of the shit jenni or heaven have.

It seems like most other people who have interacted with her has been positive, but I had a kind of iffy encounter with her at Katsucon. I wasn't in Homestuck, but my friend and I were were doing a photoshoot in the same area as her and a couple other cosplayers, and she got territorial and weird about us wanting to use the space for a little bit. I was at the con where he debuted his Jack costume, and he and a friend of his would not shut the fuck up about how many notes he had on tumblr. He tears down other cosplayers, even when they're blatant beginners, and talks shit about everyone. Everrrryyyone. If you think you're his friend, think again. There's a 95% chance he's said something mean about you. He hates fat people and mocks them constantly in private, too, especially if he thinks the people he's talking to are on his side. I just personally find it kind of weird that the total of maybe 5 times someone has made a post about him with examples of him being a dick, it's been pretty much the same thing. I don't think this was very well written, but I think I understand their point. It's become common practice for people to say things like "OMFG PERFECT EVERYONE STOP TRYING!" or things of that nature. It's meant as a compliment to the cosplayer, but it can also be really awkward on both sides. When I do a character well, I would never want someone to feel like they shouldn't even try because they won't 'live up'. And on the other side, it's kind of douchey to say that in the first place, since there is a good chance other people you know may have done the same costume.

Personally I try to stick to saying specifics "I really love this cosplay, they did a great job on X" or say "This cosplay is one of my favorite/one of the best I've seen."
