I'm afraid that usually what knocks down a few pegs some people is a shock, not everyone realizes immediately the consequences of their actions at this age and a few subtle hints are only effective on people with a low self confidence/ego, meepygal isn't much older than her I think (maybe a year or 2? I thought they were the same age) but mentally they seem the same age.
Good for her that she's living her teen years to the fullest but vanity isn't pretty, even if your face is.

I think Mami's boobs are a recognizable aspect of her design, and would not be hard to fake considering they're entirely covered. It's up to you, but I would opt for the padding.

Aw, I wouldn't knock her face too harshly. It's just a con photo and she looks more tired than she usually does.

I've looked into Spoonflower's galaxy prints but the ones that don't repeat awkwardly are still mirrored in a weird way, and I worry that they'd come out faded and cheap-looking. I may do some tests with silk dyes, and paint the whole thing myself.

Overall I like it- the top is executed well, and the skirts layers look good. I kind of wish there were some more reinforcement in the scallops/bottom layer though, and more flare in the sleeves. Matching pinks would have been nice too.

I also fixed up the back of Sayaka and Madoka's costumes. ur welcome.

The costume was purchased from Bodyline and the wig was from eBay. Just so everyone knows, I kind of hate sewing and making cosplay in general but I really love the actual aspect of cosplaying, so that's why I just buy things from the Internet or commission when I can.

If anyone has questions about the quality of the uniform or wants better pictures of it let me know. Overall I'm pretty happy with it and I think Bodyline is steadily improving in their quality. This is the second uniform I've ordered from them, the first being a Shuffle! uniform.

As for any comments on my personality, I'm pretty sure I haven't met anyone in this thread but if I ever do meet you, I'm pretty much just a quiet wierdo, so, sorry to disappoint.

Oh yeah, and I'm pretty sure there will be lots of Madoka Magica cosplayers at Sakuracon so if you are one PLEASE LET ME TAKE PHOTOS WITH YOU! I love Madoka cosplayers so much.

Totally! The wig itself is incredibly soft and relatively full. I really like it but I'm somewhat disappointed in the color. This is going to be a bit of a long post, but I think it's best to give you too much detail than not enough.

Lets start with the first thing about ordering Bodyline uniforms which is something I learned too late. When I got my uniform I opened it up then had a slight freak out when I saw that all of the pleats of the skirt were sewn together and formed a mushroom shape. What I did was start to pull them apart which led to some of the pleats coming undone (I can fix it) but what I was supposed to do was pull a single thread out and they would've come out perfectly. Apparently that thread is there to protect the skirts shape during shipping, oops.

Next, the size. My measurements are roughly 34-26-34 and the uniform I bought from them previously (the shuffle! one) fit pretty nicely in size Medium, so I went ahead and ordered this one in a medium too. It fits, for the most part, except there's really no room to spare at all in the waist area, and the skirt is borderline too short. The sleeves aren't long enough for me (curse of being tall) so I'll have to modify them in some way.

Something obvious in the photo I added is that the top is made with one layer of relatively see trough white fabric, so I'll have to get a white tank top for that, haha.

The construction of the outfit itself is really nice and I was very happy with it. It comes in four parts: the skirt, the top, neck tie, and the long bow to pin to the back.

Other than those things, I can't think of anything else to add but if you have any questions, ask away.

Oh, I'm the same height as you! Your waist is smaller than mine so I think it would definitely fit you, since that's the main area it's tight on me.

As for the skirt, here is a photo to show that it's basically two skirts sewn together if that makes sense. Sorry, I haven't ironed it yet.

Cosplaying as Madokami this year. Does anyone have any good cosplays of her?

I want to attempt a Madoka but I have no idea what to do with my boobs. I'm a 32C. Should I... Well I'm not really sure, it seems like the heart cutout will be really awkward.
