What's the most challenging homestuck cosplay you've done, and how did you get through it?

So I'm thinking of putting together a different March Eridan outfit for Sakuracon.

I'm leaning toward a black/purple version of UW Cheerleader outfit because it's actually going to be NCAA March Madness by then, but I also have some Troll!Cops in mind.

I did handmaid last sak.
enlarged one of the panels to get the pattern for her dress, then made it a vector, then painted the fabric for my dress with fabric paint.

Oh, it makes more sense if it's like recreating something I guess. I tend not to pay much attention to the prints for sale. I just find it strange because it seems like such a weird thing to do out of cosplay. I saw a pic recently somewhere that had all the alpha and beta kids arranged like that and it struck me as crowded, especially since the picture wasn't taken from overhead. Cosplays themselves could have been stellar for all I know.

I find the trigger thing so strange. I have triggers too, and really weird ones, and yeah, they SUCK and can just...send me into horrible, debilitating spells. But what gets me is...tagging EVERYTHING with trigger warnings and trying to excise your triggers from your life entirely forever and ever is actually the worst way to go about that sort of thing? You're fearing it, and giving it more power. What I've always been told to do by my doctors (and the only thing, in my experience, that does work, though it's HARD)is to confront them--maybe not all at once, but you HAVE to learn to deal with them. The world won't kow tow to you, and you can't...you can't let them rule you anymore. You have to be brave. You can't bubblewrap your entire world.

Okay maybe I'm alone here. Yes there's not gratuitous amount of nudity but this just all seems unneeded. I know we've talked about nudestuck over and over and nudes vs. being trashy. But come on. In these images yes, DM looks nice, but MF looks forced and almost forced against here and ridgid while Dm looks natural.

But the bottom line is did the fandom really need this? Is there anything really touching or beautiful about this? Yes DM looks very attractive and has a nice body, but it just seems so unneeded and I feel like HS has been treading way farther with nude cosplay than any fandom has even thought on going. DM initial Disciple nudestuck was fine enough. It was in character, an artistic choice, not to mention it wasn't even submitted to Nudestuck, but instead reblogged by the blog.

Can you really tell me that them having their clothes off and escepcially MF being in sexed up lingerie adds any more to this photo shoot than if they would have had their costume on and been holding one another? It just really rubs me the wrong way.
