Pretty cute, actually. It looks like they hang a little too close to the natural waist for the flapper style, and the lowest point on Rose's seems to end a bit too abruptly under the fringe. I think the light symbol would have worked as head pin for Rose; the combination of the skull and scarf just make the head area look a bit piratey.

I wouldn't commission Zemmer. Their cosplays look nice enough, yes. But a lot of the time the fit is super fucking off and ruins it. Like that one Robo Aradia with the quartz props? That outfit was made by Zemmer and looks all kinds of unflattering.

They have posted more than once about boohoo not having enough money and motivation to make the cosplays they are already commissioned to do.

I can see what you're saying. But essentially, tumblr is an appropriate website for people making anything close to a journal entry. Though, they should take into consideration that it's going to be public and people are going to see it (unless of course, they have a private tumblr for that or a tumblr where they don't have anyone they know following them, so it's pretty much anonymous venting or whatever).
Honestly, I can agree with you on this, but only to an extent! They're not doing anything wrong here, but at the same time, it does get on my nerves when people must make every little thing that should be kept private, public. (ie: talk about how they had just self- harmed, details about a breakup, arguing on public posts about personal issues, etc etc)

I understand that sometimes if the piercings are new, they can't be removed, or that removing them can be hard (at least that's always the counter-argument I've heard), but it literally takes one click with the patch tool to erase them in pictures. Shoop them out if you won't take them out.

It was designed by an art team member, and Feastings also made long dress and short skirt canon in the ministrife update (although that was after mostflogged cosplayed it, although the symbol is on a different side).

As for the cosplay itself, I enjoy looking at it from afar, but the unstyled wig, subpar horns and whatever the heck is going on with the skirt just bother me closer up. I'd like to see more Kanaya cosplayers attempt it though.

I'm remaking a GT Dave cape I have, and I need advice on the material to use. I know people are going to jump to suggest flannel or fleece and the general pajama-type material, but I'd rather keep away from that.

From the stripes on the side of Dave's pants, he's wearing track pants. Everyone uses a basic cotton tee, so making his outfit consist of:

Activate your makeup of choice with Ben Nye Liquiset, apply it, powder it with Ben Nye Neutral Set Powder, and then a spritz of Ben Nye Final Seal should do the trick.

I'll tell you what I use: Kryolan Auqacolor in Grey 089. For my lips I use Ben Nye Lustrous Lipstick in LS-17 Black. I use Ben Nye Makeup Magicake Aqua Paint in [appropriate blood color] on the apples of my cheeks and on my nose. Just a dark grey eyeshadow for contour, I find it blends easier, and it's cheaper. I would use another Creme but that's expensive yo. And for sponges, I just use a regular makeup sponge! And for freckles, I suggest getting the color you want (either a darker grey or the blood color), and use a stipple sponge!

Both work! Like I said, I just use a sponge. In a pinch, you can honestly use your hands and it won't be streaky at all.
