I've liked photoshopping shit for years now. More recently, though, I've just been repainting shit entirely instead of just warping and editing my stuff. The PT I did up near the top( >>6650460 ), the entire lower half of her face was painted, not warped or liquified.

Things like the blue haired chick and the other PT pic I did were mostly done using warp/liquefy/transform and then painting over inconsistencies and adjusting the light/shadow to something more fitting to their reduced weight.

I really like working with faces, though. They're what I draw the most, and they're what I like to shoop the most. Lips are a weak spot I need to work on more, hahah.

It's terrifying, Anon. You did her right leg alright, but the left leg is way too thin. You could have actually left it alone, in fact. Her hair is decent, but the main problem is the face. Instead of going in depth on where you went wrong, it'd be easier to just recommend something to you. Take a face and just try and copy its aesthetics. Don't wing it and try to make it attractive all on your own. Visual references are key for people who aren't already really good at what they're doing. thank's for the feedback, the problem with her face is, that the proportions are just terribly wrong and unattractive in the original, so the blur and liquify tool and just reworking the asthetics a little are not sufficient in her case IMHO. her eyes are too far apart, her back head is way too small, her nose is a combination of too long and too thin, her the chin of course, the ears are too long. I just had to do something about it. and kind of failed, oh well.

pic related is another example of my shoops which received bad criticism.
Am I really that bad and should stop to make shoops? honest question, because this used to be a hobby of mine but I won't bother spending time on it anymore if it's that horrible.

a common tool to use is the clone stamp or the spot healing brush. What I like doing the most is using the lasso tool and chopping away at the image, kinda like a sergeant. Though, doing it that way you really need to know human proportions.This isn't exactly how I do it, but kinda close

Okay, I think I've settled on how I want her jawline. Next order of business is to tweak her facial structure to suit the new weight(special focus to be given to the nose), reintroduce texture into her plastic skin, and fix up errors in the lighting.

After that will be removing the excess fat from her hand, fixing seams and warps in the shoop, and lastly the cosmetic touches.

How can somebody be so lazy with an easy cosplay like that? I get if you don't want to sew, but for the love of a sacred cow, then:
1. Wear fucking makeup.
2. Buy a fucking white shirt.
3. Buy a fucking full orange bodysuit.
4. Buy a pendant.
5. Buy a fucking pair of red gloves.
6. Buy a pair of red short boots.
It's no fucking hard, you can make a Garnet cosplay out of thrift stores. It's the easiest final fantasy character to do. And the cheapest.
