This is my latest artwork.

I made it in 3D studio max.

It took me 6 hours to do.

It is an alien from a foreign planet.

I don't know how to color things properly yet.

It's actually two long clip-on tails and I use the clips to catch them so it has more volume.

Just curious, what did you end up doing for her belt buckle? I'm in the process of making that version of her at the moment.

Ah alright, yep. Maybe I'll just use clay like others suggested. I like what you did for the bracelet though. I got so frustrated with the fact that in reference photos it's fuzzy like fur but with the same pattern as the top. But looking at it on you, it looks nice out of fabric.

Yeah, from the reference it seems like fur, but I didn't really have any. So I just made a scrunchie out of the same material I used for the top. My top is a stretchy, dancewear sort of material if that helps.

Yeah it looks good. I used a bathing suit top and covered it, which was a bad idea since the fabric isn't stretchy but I found a way to give it shape. If my plan doesn't work, I'm gonna follow suit and use my extra fabric to make a scrunchie.

What kind of fabric did you end up getting? I ended up going with a halter pattern, because it didn't seem like the back was open and just adjusted from there. I hope whatever you have planned works out!

I wish I had a picture. I got a cow print in cotton and dyed it pink because the cotton would take the color better. I'm already making a vest for my Stein's Gate cosplay so I think I'll alter that pattern to make the back. Not quite sure, haven't gotten that far.

This was one of the first costumes I made completely by myself and I'm glad I did. I loved being able to be in Jojo, everyone from the fandom is really cool. I need to get a new wig and remake the mobcap but overall I was happy with it.

Wore this last weekend, Shirahoshi from One Piece. Unfortunately, I can't find any good pictures of the costume. The wig was a rush job and my sequin fabric was totally wrong but oh well!

Kazeki's version of Lady Loki was my most recent. I have a love/hate relationship with it because while I really adore the design the straight bottom of the corset something that does not flatter me at all. I ended up feeling really self conscious about my hip area, and wore fleshtone seamless underwear that showed through the tights sometimes and looked dumb.

Wore it again with a pretty hipscarf and liked it much more, but felt bad because it's not accurate to the design...

To be honest (and I know I'm in a small minority here in /cgl/) sacrificing some (SOME) accuracy for comfort is not a bad thing. Especially if you're on the con floor rather then in a photoshoot. Don't wear shoes that make your feet bleed, don't have head gear that you can't see in and if a costume happens to accentuate a part of you body you aren't comfortable with, fix it so that you are. I think you look great and wouldn't be too concerned over a panty-line or an extra drapey thing.

Thanks! I'm actually wearing the underwear in this shot and they're not too visible, but with strong flash it was really obvious.

I've worn costumes showing a lot of hip before but with darker stockings, so I didn't expect this one to end up bothering me, but the lesson has been learned.

Next time I wear it I'm definitely making a few adjustments, I'd rather not waste a decent costume because of one little thing.

Newest would be Kyubey but that was like, October-ish... and the wig I borrowed was horribly small on me.
Need to get finished on my new costumes asap.

This has been my trip for a few years now, its not character related, its cosplay related. I was at a meetup cosplaying Moxxi, so everyone called me that. Ta-dah, new tripname.
