I went and had fun this year. I liked the new venue of the BJCC. I think it was a good move to accommodate how many more people came this year.

I'll leave picture uploading for someone else as I don't think my shitty camera pics are what people want to see.

Anyone know if the move to the BJCC is permanent? The Ferguson Center, the old venue, is undergoing renovation and will unavailable next year as well.

Also, pictures.

I'll start:
THE RAVE: almost broke the BJCC. While the floor was meant to bend some, it was not meant to bounce like a trampoline. In fact, doors were opening, projector screens were shaking and a light fixture fell ALL ON THE 1ST FLOOR!
you guys were rocking the house down, haha.

THE FIX: we will be renting an exhibition hall next year (one right beside our area), the floor is concrete and nothing is under it so you guys can jump allllllllll you want.

FOOD: these were food places around, you just had to find them all...and some ran out of food coughSubwaycough

THE FIX: our BJCC coordinator will be attempting to open concessions next year. We will also be getting in contact with more food trucks earlier so that they have time to get the proper permission and paper work filled in order to be on BJCC grounds.

Also, we are looking at a possible stay in the BJCC after next year, but we have not signed a contract for it yet. The ferg was wonderful, but the renovations are not making it 'large group friendly' so we will probably never be able to fit in there again.

Had a bunch of fun. Only wish the con were longer, ended up spending much more time hanging with/looking for people than participating in the events and panels.
As for my cosplay... I think I did okay, considering it was my first and I had 1 week to pull it off. If I wear it again I might remake the scarf using something other than spray paint, and getting a wig.

OH MY GOD I HAD AN AMAZING TIME. Chelsea and Raymond are sooo cute I can't wait for next year.

Also I watched all of Greggo's game shows this year and dude he's such a cutie. Him messing with the male Vanellope and all that, he's so freaking adorable, anybody else think so too?

It was the best con ever!!! They made friends with the home and garden show they shared the space with, and those people were so kind to us because of it. I met many congoers who were actually there for the home and garden show, but registered for kami-con too because they thought we were so fun. The shows were great, the guests were wonderful, and they pulled off such a clean,fun show at a beans new venue in a new city! Best con I've ever been to, and I've been to a lot.

I was dressed as Clark Kent and my girlfriends dressed as Power Girl we had a ton of fun ohh my God it was so amazing. The dodgeball and both wedding proposals were probably our favorite parts. unfortunately we rage quitting walked out of the rave. glad to hear that already sorted out for next year.
