I really can not see the point in cosplaying a design FIRST, and this whole "FIRST TO GET IT DONE" contest every time there's an update with a new design. I have never once seen one of these cosplays actually look good, all of them look like someone did it at 3AM the night before in the matter of hours. Which is the point, I guess, because thats exactly what they did but whats the appeal in making a shit quality cosplay first when you can actually use your supplies/funds in the most productive way by actually taking time with it.

I want to make it out of really nice pottery clay but i have no clue what to do about the wristband because theres no way i can make that out of clay and still be able to get it on and off my wrist without breaking it. As cool as that sounds I don't have access to a kiln or clay like that so while what you're saying sounds cool as hell, that wouldn't work for me.

I was thinking more along the lines for the wrist band to be made out of dyed leather or purple veggie leather with a proper clasp and then make the crab top part like a large bead and sew it it to the wrist band. It's the top crabby parts that's eluding me. the small parts of it have to be made out of something sturdy or they might break. I'm not sure if sculpey would cut it or not, even if I used wire to make the shape under neath it.

I'd say look around for summer toys because it's easier to find crab toys then, paint it with spray paint and maybe cut a small hole for a watch if you want one.

I give her credit for choosing to go out in public in that monstrocity even though she probably knew that everyone here would be taunting for it. I really hope she really improves her cosplays and makes a great progress on them. if she can be proud of that awful thing and wear it out, then it's clear that she could really have the potential to do good costumes if she took the advice and improved her future ones.

I though it was pretty good, to be honest. The improv was smooth, the Act cards were cute and I liked the cosplay. I liked the Jade, Mituna and Feferi in particular. The Nepeta was great if you like very cute interpretations of Nepeta.
