First off, her fangs aren't blue.
Second off, the eye and the wing are on opposite sides. If you want to say that the wing and eye should be flipped, that WOULD be a good point in any comic other than one where the characters can "flip themselves turnways". The quality of the outfit is pretty good, and you can't honestly expect someone to make wings out of cellophane or sumsuch for an event where they might be destroyed (And they look fine anyway)

I would recommend for long lasting lipwear that you find an eyeliner color that corresponds to the color you are using and apply a complete base coat of that before you apply the lipstick. Lipliner comes in shades of red for this, while eyeliner can come in several shades including black, green, and blue.

Wow I suck at art. Anon from earlier who was thinking about a lusus gijinka. I'll let people try to guess to see if it would be recognizable. I went for both a subtle, and not so subtle approach. If you have any feedback, I'd love to hear it. I got kind of stuck on the first one's top.

A very pale teal would be a nice colour that didn't pop too much or detract from the outfit. Unless you have very slim thighs, I'd also recommend not using thigh highs with a skirt cut like that.
I like the idea of giving dragon mom hair styled like Terezi's, but longer (maybe like Redglare?).

And if you'd be open to suggestions for different things to add to the design, maybe a pair of light teal gloves (to match the belts) and a high collar, with the jacket/top edged in light teal bias tape. I'm just pulling details from Redglare, but it'd be neat to see dragon mom incorporate small elements from all the Pyropes.

I did think the skirt callback to Redglare was neat. I meant that wearing thigh-highs that left a gap between your hip and the stocking would draw attention to your thighs in particular.
Looking at the original design some more, I think the vertical lines of the skirt conflict with the horizontal lines of the jacket (which I like, since they remind me of a dragon's belly). Question about the jacket - is that a gap in the front, with the flaps held together by the straps?

So knowing nothing about your body type except for your thighs (though I feel you anon, I gots cyclist thighs), I threw down a sketch for you. She has dragon elements (face spike-fins, clawed gloves, wings, tail) and Pyrope elements (horns, glasses, hair). Though if you didn't want your wig to get confused with a troll, you could style the hair straight back and spiky (think Tooth from Return of the Guardians).
The pants are meant to be form-fitting and tight, but they could be substituted with a miniskirt and stockings. I feel like at least one element of a dragon lusus cosplay (the jacket, if you would) should be made of scaly leather (like snakeskin). With an outfit that's all/mostly white, you need texture to break it up and keep it interesting and not look like a semen blob.

I won't take it personally at all if you find this weird and awful; it was a fun personal exercise.

Actually there wasn't going to be thighhighs, there was going to be a sleeveless bodysuit underneath it all, and the belts on the side of the skirt were just a part of the skirt's design. Yes, the flaps would be holding the fronts of the jacket together, the bodysuit underneath would keep my breasts or anything of the sort from showing. But since the design has gloves now as suggested, it would be a full bodysuit instead of a sleeveless one.

I took that idea from Redglare cosplayers with the teal bodysuit they put under their outfit. I think the face fins, horns, and tail would be nice too. If you look at the corners of my mouth,I extended the black from my lips into and past the corners and curled it upward slightly to mimic the cat mouth shape. You could do the same for a frog look but extend the line more(a half inch at most) from the edge of your mouth and give it a slight downward curve.

Pardon if I screw something up, this is my first time on /cgl/ and attempting cosplay.
So last night on HSG i asked about doing GT Jade or 3am Jade. They said to make it like they were alchemized together, so i came up with this.
So would I be able to remove the glowing mechanism thing off the stick figure costume with it still working?
I have basic sewing experience and I know a friend who's pretty good at it that'd help me.
Also I included a pic because I see these really nice cosplays but the face kills it. So if I don't really match a good Jade, who else would I be able to work? I wouldn't mind trying to do a troll.

not only a wig is easily styled, but it stays like that for a longer time. Also you can safety pin your dog ears to the wig instead of using a headband and look poorly made (same with troll horns! Avoid headbands).

You would look great as Jane, and I'd say green shoes (heels wold be awesome but impractical so your choice) and either black thighs or no thighs. Not enough knowledge on the glowy stick things, but it sounds like a good idea.

Either put wires in the horns so you can twist them into your wig, put them on a headband and stick them through the netting of your wig, or attach them to snaps and attach snaps to your wig and then stick them on that way. You can use google for that question though.

Wigs almost always look much better as opposed to using your real hair in almost all cases, and you can often get a more accurate look when it's properly styled!

As for your Godtier-3AM dress post in >>6600257, I think you have a super cute face for Jade! I'm a Jade cosplayer myself, and I've found that there's a lot of different face shapes that can pull her off, from my experience.
For the sake of matching, I would go with black tights and green heels. But if you want to go with more of a look that resembles her Godtier outfit, have you considered making the trim and details white instead of lime green? That way you could likely use the striped tights and red shoes, as well as have a more obvious combination between her godtier outfit and 3AM dress. Sorry if that was hard to understand!

Oh goodness, no. There's tons of other options that you could use, and like >>6600294 stated, a quick Google search could likely help you!
A method that I like is the screw method. Basically, you can put screw anchors (I've also seen corn used befors) into the bottom of the horn. To attach the horns to the headband, you're able to put the screws into the anchors, which are inside the horns. I've also seen snaps and even magnets (smaller horns would be better for the latter, though) used- there are a lot of alternatives!

As for your second question, don't rush it, contour so your face doesn't look flat, and seal that shit! If you use Ben Nye for troll paint, they also carry setting powder and final sealant- make full use of that stuff, it can save your life in some cases and you don't get grey on everything you touch, to boot. Make sure to reapply it when you need to, because I'm pretty sure it can wear off. I've been using snazaroo for trolls lately, and it also works pretty well for that, as well. I hope that answers your question!

I remember ALA's draw meet for 2012 having similar issues with relocation; the issue is that you have a large amount of people (and their stuff) occupying a space for a prolonged period of time (assuming most gatherings last about an hour, whereas the draw parties can last upwards of two or three).

In short, it presents regulated room capacity and fire hazard issues, ones that con ops would very much like to avoid. I agree with what's been said about the lone Pikmin spike up top - it needs to be either trimmed shorter or made thicker, and the wispy bang spike over your left eye looks like it slid out of a clump of bigger spikes. Overall, though I like it and it's a good start!
