This weekend I got photos of two different costumes mainly because we booked an actual basketball court. I'm the Takao (black hair) and I also have Haizaki shots. It felt good to be productive with cosplay.

Yukari from ALA. I consider this one a work in progress, as I still have a lot of details to finish and fitting issues to work out. I also need to remember to go lighter on the lipstick, because I'm not one of those people who can pull off a dark eye AND a dark lip.

Yeah, like I said, it's a work in progress (it's missing a ton of details, ergh). I didn't have time to get a new wig so I hauled out my old Winry wig that I was planning to sell and curled that instead. This was my first time curling a wig! I was actually kind of relieved at how it turned out, considering what I was working with and how little time I had.

I'm definitely going to work on the styling, though- I agree that it's too curly for the look I want. The makeup is another issue I'm going to address for the next time I wear it, which will hopefully involve a proper photoshoot.

I do speak to the girls regularly and they do seem nice, I try to get to meet ups at least once every month or two but I have to balance it with other commitments.
