This is the sweetest lolita dress. I built it on a vintage Calvin Klein white eyelet dress. I shortened the dress and added layers of vintage ruffles, lace, trim, and a vintage red and white hand made apron with flower pattern pockets. It ties in back for shaping. I also added a cross pattern hand made applique on the apron overskirt. Embellishments came from my vintage linen collections. Have fun in this dress! Best fits small/medium for shabby chic, eco friendly, OOAK style. Originally a size 8.

This salopette is made with adorable Charmmy Kitty denim fabric. The bodice is lined with twill and the grey accents are a plush soft velvet. The buttons are metal enameled brown buttons. Made with a little bit of lacing in the back so you can adjust the waist. Straps are adjustable. This salopette even has pockets!

Dude, it looks like a lampshade.
It could work as an apron maybe...but as a skirt the shape is totally bizarre and the colors are way too gaudy. Not to mention that conspicuous seam going down the middle of the floral fabric (though I can't tell if that's the front or the side).

Its "Rocking Horse Lolita Fashion" now. To be honest I think she is improving but she has a long way to go before she is worth buying. Her prices have gone down a little and it is nice to see her wearing her own products now she never used to. I like the idea of the snow flake print but it could have been done a bit better.

In its defense, I think "sweetest Lolita" is just the name. This fits the "shabby chic" style perfectly. I was into shabby chic and boho before I got into Mori, and this is basically what you'd expect from the style. It's usually a "modern/vintage/tattered/mismatched/lacpastel/homemade" sort of thing.

Also I'm not overly familiar with Etsy's policies; do the rules allow people to scan patterns from a magazine (like the G&LB), translate part of it, and sell copies of the .pdf online? It doesn't seem kosher to me but maybe Etsy is fine with it, I don't know.

I've been wanting translations for all the GLB patterns for kana's outfits. they're kind of ita but I'd really like to make them but sometimes it's hard to make glb stuff without an english translation of the direction. I feel like a lot of people would totally kill for some directions translated. the gosurori mook have really good direction but the glb ones can be tricky if you don't know japanese, y'know

Sometimes I can figure the patterns out using my own garment construction knowledge but it sometimes seems like there's two many pieces. Like on the pattern piece for something it'll tell you to cut 4, but then you end up with these pieces that don't seem to belong anywhere.
I was doing a blouse once and it had these long strips that didn't seem to fit anything. I thought they were the sleeve cuffs but they were so long and all the other pieces were accounted for so what the fuck were those strips?
Fuck.
I'm probably reading shit wrong, but that was really mind-boggling. I still have no idea what the hell was going on with that pattern.
