Starting this off with a warning for descriptions of nosebleeds.
i like them because, if done correctly, nosebleeds imply that said character has been in a fight, and that sort of thing is just plain interesting.
problem is, most people don't know how to realistically recreate bloody noses, so it just looks like crap. If you plan to do nosebleed makeup, look up pics of nosebleeds. try to recreate that.
I get nosebleeds constantly because of dry temps etc., so for those of you who aren't sure what a nose bleed's like-
the blood gushes p. fast, so there's going to be a lot of it going in 3 or four directions, depending on which way your head is tilted, if your mouth is open, etc.
there's enough of it that it's not a stupid bright red. it's dark red.
if you wipe your nose when you have a nose bleed, its just gonna keep flowing.

I'd like to know how to attach armsocks from welovecolors to a tanktop/bathingsuit for Feferi? If anyone has ideas. I'm just not really sure how to get the armsocks to cover my shoulders completely. I'm not overweight and I'm a girl, if that helps.

speaking as someone who wears the armsocks quite often, you're just not going to get them to cover your shoulders. most fefs go the bodysuit route, or you could look into making your own armsocks out of gray fabric. the ones from welovecolors are just too short to cover anyone's shoulders.

If it's full tights with the crotch and everything, you could just wear it as normal over your head, and trim where the bathing suit would show.

If it's just on the arms, you could try this stuff (pic related). I think it was mentioned in this thread before (or maybe another one i can't keep track anymore), but it has good reviews, and apparently once you put it on it doesn't budge! But since it would be around your arms, I'm not sure.

You could also safety pin the hell out of it, making sure the pins don't show, my friend does it but it take one or two people to help her, since she can't do it by herself.

I had made mine out of the full pantyhose/tights, with the bottom part and everything. I only cut a hole in for the head, and a bit of a cut so I could wear it under my bust (I was wearing a tshirt over it so it wasn't noticeable.

What if they took the armsocks, took black thread, cut it like I had done, andsewn it inside on the side close to the collar of the swimsuit? If it's stretched taught by sewing it there, it should cover the shoulders in theory? And they could just adjust the part under their boobs?

For detangling a wig, does it matter if you use regular detangler instead of a detangler made for synthetic hair? The ends of my Fef wig are completely matted to the touch, and I want to get them soft again.

Using fabric softener has done wonders for me and my friends. Use one part with any fabric softener, and four part water mix in a spray bottle.

Detangling Tecnique #1: For best results, place your wig on a wig head.
Dependinng on how badly tangled your wig is, holding The Magic Mixture spray bottle approximately 6 to 8 inches from the wig, spray 1 to 2 times directly onto the tangled area. For tougher tangles, you may need to repeat this process and use more sprays.

1. Gently use a small, wig brush or fine-tooth comb to begin detangling, starting with small strokes from the bottom edge and working your way upwards in small increments towards the crown.

2. Brush or comb the hair on top of your fingers (usually, your forefinger and middle finger are perfect for this process). This prevents breakage and loss of the wig’s hair and gives you more control over the detangling process.

3. It is best to work on areas that are 1 to 1.5 inches wide at a time. Although this may sound like a time consuming technique, this is the fastest and safest approach to detangling a wig.

4. When finished detangling, set your wig on rollers and allow to air-dry.

What glasses do you think would be good for a normal Vriska? I have some shades and popped one lens out, but I'm not too sure about using those because I feel that not having a clear lens on the other side makes it look a bit shitty.

personally I think it would look a little bit better if there was a little more room for your legs? I mean the skirt doesn't need to flare out drastically but when they're that tight you don't quite get the floating effect. Still, I do have to say that's probably the best Dead Shuffle skirt I've seen so far; just adjust the skirt a little and it'll be good! Not, not Katsu. They allowed a Homestuck panel last year no problem. This year they got a ton so they only accepted I believe 2 and the others got waitlisted meaning if a panel drops or they think they can fit another in somewhere the panel will run. The one just posted about, the ask panel, is waitlisted.

While I'm sure they won't in the end run ALL the panels, talking to a friend on staff, they don't mind including all fandoms in their events since they want to run a lot of different things, being a big con.

I think it's because you're cosplaying as a character that in-canon owns loaded guns 100% of the time. Everyone at the con knows your gun isn't real, but you're still acting as the character in pictures.
