They seem to run a size small - I usually wear a US 8.5 and my toe hits the end of the size 40. The black ones have a kind of clunky wide-looking design but the pink ones are narrower. I don't know if it was the store's fault or not, but this took almost a month to arrive at the SS. It's quite transparent so you'd want to wear a white undershirt with it. It's surprisingly accommodating for my 39cm shoulders but the sleeves are shorter than I'd like (my tape measure tells me 58cm).

It's pretty nice but not exactly like the pictures. The brown lacing is different, the colour is a bit lighter and it doesn't have the contrasting threads so it's far from a perfect replica. That said, it's a cute jsk in its own right. It hits me just above the knee, and I'm 5'3".

The quality is fucking amazing and I love it better than the original. I don't own a lot of replicas, but for the ones I do, I love. The print is completely opaque and not blurry in any sense. The ribbon that says "ANGELIC PRETTY MELTY CHOCOLATE" is sewed onto at both border seams, if that makes sense - basically the seams aren't visible. It fits perfect, but if you have big arms you might have issues. The arm part is not gathered like other replicas, so you'll have to squeeze your arms into it if you're not skinny enough.

I was just reading the SS spreadsheet, and thought I should let you guys know that it is possible to buy 90cm umbrellas via TaobaoRing, as long as you buy enough stuff so that they will use a big box where the umbrella will fit in. Otherwise they'll have to stuff it with filling, and you'll have to pay more for shipping the entire thing.

I bought one when my entire order was about 10 kg, but when I asked if I could split it into two parcels they said it wouldn't be wise because I'd have to pay too much extra for the fillings of the umbrella box.

You'll have to look up how to measure yourself and grab some measuring tape.

You have to be really careful with Chinese sizes. For men's sizes, I really advise checking every listing and making sure. My boyfriend is Chinese and he wears an L or an XL when we shopped in Hong Kong, but a XS or S when he shops in the states... I think it's mostly his shoulders, but it can really vary and be generally wonky. So make sure you take the measurements correctly and keep your eye out!

Taobaospree is very expensive compaired to others like Bhiner, Taobaoring, Pruany, etc.
Bhiner doesn't offer SAL, cheapest they've got is HK Airmail which isn't cheap but their fee is only 5%.
Tbring is 8% and they do offer SAL which is great if you do large orders or if your country doesn't have ems.

The post offices in China will shut down over CNY, just like how in the west post offices completely shut down over Christmas. It's the biggest public holiday. However, they give people a last postal date because this means that if you post it, then your parcel should get to wherever it is it's going before the post offices shut down. For international mail, that parcel only has to get dispatched out the country, as if you are living in a country that doesn't shut down for CNY then your postal system is still going to be up and running. Hope this makes sense.

EMS is for large orders with a certain weight limit. SAL, while also can be used for the same large orders, is going to cost roughly the same, with EMS being slightly more expensive, so you might as well use EMS because it'll get to your home country faster.

for SAL depends on the type of SAL. SAL small packet unregistered is far cheaper than EMS but has no tracking and takes longer and has a 2kg limit. I get a lot of figures sent that way (usually $100 total) and have no problems but if you're buying high ticket you might want tracking. Heads up to anybody buying make-up from taobao, it's most likely fake. Unless it specifies it's a shopping service through a HK counter and provides you with the original receipt, if it's shockingly cheap then it's fake. There's a huge market for fake or hyped cosmetics. I wouldn't buy anything that goes directly on your face (e.g. mask pack, foundation, powder). However, it's a wonderful place to get lots of cheap things such as eyeliner, eyeshadow palettes, lip color, eyelashes and brushes. I have a stash of like 5 eyeliner sharpeners because I keep losing them and they only cost 1 rmb each.
