You know, I honestly don't care about fat girl cosplay but this isn't a great cosplay. Her wig isn't tied up like the girl in the video, the hat's all wrong, and the make-up really misses the mark. It's nor horrible, but it's not great, and considering the outfit is overall pretty simple it could've been done much better.

Don't be. Use proper make up an contour your face as needed. I'm assuming you're MtF. You can make a very convincing female if you... Well, if you know how to be a typical female. Walk like one, talk like one, and most importantly look like one. If you're on hormones that'll make your life easier over time. Pad your chest/ass/ hips if you'd like to be more convincing atm.
If you're FtM, then your life will be easier as many male characters in anime tend to have softer faces.
Most importantly, don't worry and just have fun. So long as you take pride in your cosplay and the work you put into making it complete, the only hate you'll receive is from jellies and that one bitch who doesn't like anything nor anyone (read Libra and their demon spawn).

If you frequent these threads, you'll notice that there's a bunch of different trends to what is considered "bad"; little to no make up, badly styled wigs, poor craftsmanship, not being able to dress to their body, and over all just a sloppy costume.

Honestly, though, I doubt you'll achieve the levels required to be posted on this thread, given that you seem like someone who'd be so worried about making a mistake. In the end, though, it doesn't really matter, if you're having fun, a lot of people will over-look some of the mistakes you've made.

Oh God not School Bites... Not only is this cosplay absolutely terrible, the web comic is horrid. It's made by some comic artist who got into anime a year or two ago, told the people she drew comics for she wanted to do anime style instead, they told her no. So she said see you, and started her own horrible "anime" styled comic. Not only is her style incredibly amateur, she never keeps one style for longer then half a chapter. It's blatantly obvious what animes she's watched that inspired her too. Just reading the first book you can tell she watched / read Tokyo Mew Mew, the style screams it.
