She's only done that one Lollipop Chainsaw gig and a couple of very small cons. They don't pay her for anything other than maybe snacks and cover her travel expenses. I know this because I've worked with a game publishing company as well and I've also been a guest at numerous conventions. It doesn't pay shit and definitely isn't something you'd quit your day job for. If she made her costumes for the company under a contract like Precious or PikminLink have had then yeah she'd be getting paid for supplies and labor but her costume was provided by Suda 51 so that wouldn't apply.

I can understand making the assassin's outfits more feminine-fitting if you're going to be doing a Rule 63 cosplay of Altair/Ezio/Connor/whoever, because otherwise you would just look like a crossplayer who forgot to bind, but for God's sake there is no reason to make them show any more skin that what is shown on the male's costume.

I just seems so impractical. Why would a female Connor want to bare her midriff, arms, and legs when she lives in an area that's cold for most of the year? You would die of exposure in a couple hours if you tried to run around in JNig's Connor outfit in the snowy winter.

Also, it's pretty much canon that in Asscreed 1 at least, all females dressed the same as males. Unless, of course, you're like my friend and want to forget everything Bowden wrote. Which is fair, because Bowden is a shit writer and some of his canon makes no sense in the context of the video game. His book is the only place where female assassins in Al Masyaf were mentioned.

That's the problem, though. The few things that Connor does have in his colonial outfit, still have significant meaning to them. The way that Connor's belt is tied is to signify that he is 'Metis'. The way that Jnig sports the Tomahawk, the beads on the arms and the feathers are also bothersome as well. They may be small items, but their meanings are not insignificant.
