Yeah, that is a small order. I buy all of my lolita clothing from Dream of Lolita. Never had a single problem. I've bought maybe $700 of stuff from them. I like that they custom make for free as well as customize (like adding more lace or bows on a dress). Not trying to add on to the replica vs brand shit, but personally I don't care and I can't say that the quality is horrible, because it's the best quality I've ever had. I can tell cheap, wrinkly thin fabric from thick cotton fabric. A lot of what I've bought from them is sold out now.

With "normal" clothes, I usually wear "school girl" type of stuff. Like just look up school lingerie and you'll come up with basic blouses. Those are what I buy, they're usually less than 50 yuan (~$8). I'm not talking about the sexual kind of lingerie that's all revealing, I'm talking about actual clothing.

Not problems. There's no issues with replicas. However, I have had stuff removed from customs (they weren't lizlisa replicas, but they were in a huge order with lizlisa). I think with multiple large orders in bulk, stuff seems to get lost in customs (during busy holidays).

I think the cat ear ones, while in theory more weebish, are also more subtle and may be able to be worked more easily into an outfit if you have big hair that they can peek out from.

The horns I feel like are less directly weebish but still a bit costumey. I like them sometimes and think they can be done right in tumblrgoth outfits, just don't try to do an outfit that's too matchy-matchy in terms of a devil theme or it'll turn into a costume.

I feel really stupid asking, but I'm not too sure about this so: how does one get custom sized clothing from taobao? I've tried searching, but all I get is "Free size" or sizes that are way too small for my large bust. I understand that some lolita stores at taobao offer custom sizes, but how does this thing even work? Is there an icon or something that tells that the shop does custom? Do I need to ask the SS to ask on my behalf? Does it cost much extra?
I'm definitely not a lolita, but I wouldn't mind buying few cute blouses or dresses that might fit the said category. So I guess if anyone has any insight or links to known shops that do custom sizes, I'd be more than happy!

My bust is way too big for most of the fitting clothing (and by way too big, I mean with a good 10~20 cm) and just because of that my size in China is somewhere from XL to 4XL. You could try 大码 or just throw XXXL in there, but I have to tell you that taobao doesn't offer much to a bigger gal. I found few clothes here and there, but they all are the result of pure dumb luck. Search, search and search. You might have to limit you searches to other items than clothing, just because there just isn't much. Good luck!

This is how much each item cost including the service fees, shipping, etc. which was all added according to how much everything weighed.

It's so much cuter in real life, but it looks just like the photos! The material is rubbery and it's a slip on cover (I thought it was plastic with snap-ons for both the front and back). I was a bit worried that the back was so exposed but if the phone is dropped on a flat surface, it would hit the case since it's raised.

My only problem is the home button - I circled it in the photo. It doesn't lay flat against the button so we had to use double sided tape.

My least favorite purchase. To best sum it up... it's a shitty bag. It's made of really cheap material and feels really flimsy (although it can stand upright on its own). The construction is really ugly (like the back, the straps, already has a scratch when I pulled it out of the plastic bag, weird sewing pocket inside, and the bow is hideous). If you're looking for a cheap bag for lolita, I'd advise you to buy it elsewhere because this seriously would not last you a long time. They really fucked up the straps. Bottom left shows it the best, while the top two images are comparing it for both shoes. There's weird glue on the inside as well. The shoes have no support so you will need insoles if your feet hurt easily.

If you're doing a big order, use an SS with the least amount for their fees. Pruany and taobaoring come to mind.

As long as you don't use paypal (at least for tbr, not sure on pruany) since they include paypal fees.

The package itself (if it is that huge of an order) will probably be EMS shipped so shipping will be the same roughly for all the SS (the ones proclaiming "40% off!" or whatever else discount on EMS doesn't seem that discounted in my opinion.

I've bought 5 sex toys off of Taobao. 4 came in boxes and one came in a plastic bag. The one that came in a plastic bag was my favorite. I've never had toys before, so I can't judge the sounds. My favorite purchase!! It's a very sturdy bag and is incredibly adorable. The taobao photos are accurate. You can choose between two styles: a handbag or a messenger bag (I wish I had both!!!)

It's very roomy - I can fit my wallet, my phone, keys, makeup, and a waterbottle inside. I couldn't find my ruler so I used my old iphone case to compare.

They're actually really light and the sole is made of a foam material. I would be careful on wearing these for long wear since I don't know how durable they are (I wore them for 6 hours and they were fine, but I can't guarantee that they'll stay this way!). How does /cgl/ feel about binders from taobao? For some reason I can't get over that 'cheap things made in china could be possibly harmful to your body' mentality. These have good reviews and I know a lot of binder sites like lesloveboat or tkingdom are based in China anyway, so I don't know how much sense my worry makes. any finnish anons here? How often you have had to pay customs fee? I know that with ems you have to pay them everytime. But how about with SAL? Last time i chose china airmail and my stuff came in padded envelope and didnt need to pay customs fee (ordered few shirts, shorts etc small order). In other boards people claim that on online clearance they don't ask any receipt, and they won't care what value is market to packet itself, so you can give just that "1st payment" part as value, as long you pay something (and it isn't too obvious).

I will report to these taobao threads, at today singapore mail's tracking says "INFORMATION RECEIVED".

Myself I asked taobaoring to mark value as $22, but if customs catch that packet, it doesn't much matter.
And that 12% is customs' fee, that comes when value is over 150€, but you still have to pay that 24% tax for over 22€ orders.

Before online clearance I saved some ~20€ by telling lower value. I called to them and asked them to open my package and check is there any receipt for my order. They didn't found any, so I said that I will send paypal receipt.
So at email I select forward for that paypal receipt, added "Other discounts -$104.75 USD" line and then I sent that one to customs.
But like I said on last post, at online clearance they haven't asked any receipt. And you can use just 1st or 2nd payment's value over there, so you got "easy receipt" if they even ask.
