I doubt it. During the last oddment pack release I wanted to get a couple cheap blouses, but I couldn't find anyone who would sell them for less than 20% below retail. That and it'll be right after christmas and people will be wanting to spend their holiday cash.

With the AP packs it seems like a lot of girls that wanted them didn't get them- so if you manage to find one for sale, they'll be as much, if not more, than the original price.

If you're hoping for meta leftovers, they're generally cheap. Their luckypacks tend to sell a bit slower and are full of weird items that people don't want.

Dreaming Girl LP went sold out on AP's site while I had it in my cart, and though I was able to finalize my order, I'm so scared there's been an error and I won't get it in the end.

Plus it's still as "unpaid" even though I paypal'd right away and I'm just so nervous because nothing will move until monday or even later...

Getting a Nile Perch LP. Pretty excited! Might get a 6%DOKIDOKI one too.

I'm slightly dubious (some of their stuff is hideous, after all) BUT I figure overall the chances of getting cute stuff is higher; their coats and skirts are almost always nice, as are the inners. The cutsew is the only one I'm worried about!

But recently EVERYTHING of theirs is on sale, even really nice stuff, so hopefully that'll show in the LPs.

If they are on Y!A, it can only be people who reserved one online promising to sell on. They're not out yet, and won't be until after NY.

My closest axes store is 2 hours away, so online was my best bet. Still can't believe they sold out in 30 minutes though.

Sure, they wouldn't have been there in the first place if no one paid for it but the fact that they wanted it covered in GLB shows they do care about their international customers. Masumi Kanoh (googled) was the blandest, most disinterested GOH I've ever met. She's impossible to hear, rarely looked into the crowd, and never smiled. I could knock off one or two things as her being shy or such, but the way she presented herself was so standoffish/snotty that it struck a bad note with me.

The presentation for new BTSSB stuff was sloppy that they had to open photos one by one in Photoshop and it was just long awkward pauses.

Personally, I think she's the bitch tier in terms of importance of the BTSSB designers and they just sent her because of that.

By increasing production and making their product easily available, I feel that they will be reducing the value and 'prestige' factor of their brand.

Let's take Innocent World for example, every year they have bazillions of new releases, frequent sales and lucky packs. IW pieces can easily go for less than USD200 and unless it's a very coveted print, hardly anyone will pay more than USD180 for them. I have seen lots of IW goes unsold for months in the comm_sales and auctions.

I dunno about the local communities of people here, but IW here is regarded as of being 'good, cheap and reasonable beginner pieces'

It's just sort of bad manners. If there are 20 pieces available, and 20 people in line behind you, it's seen as rude to buy 15 pieces. They'd be mad at anyone who did that.

AP, ETC, JetJ - Ravenclaw. They aren't bad, they aren't heroic, they will look down on you if you are below their standard, they won't go out of their way to make new friends. Forget that Luna Lovegood was a Ravenclaw, she was exceptional, don't base your RC characterization on her.

BTSSB, Moite - Slytherin. BTSSB blacklists Westerners, they are having Japanese-only LPs, 'nuff said. Moite is snobby but they aren't evil, generally speaking, just overly concerned with status.

IW - Gryffindor. Generally pretty friendly, open, they easily ship outside of Japan though it can be harder to get their attention sometimes, attend events outside Japan. They accomodate a wide range of sizes and heights with their short and long lengths (they are the main brand that does this), they do a little of everything from plain basic starter JSKs, to crazy ornate elaborate dresses and prints. There is something everyone admires in IW.

Meta - The Crazy Nastyass Honeybadger (look it up on youtube), Hufflepuff.

I got mine from the intl site, not the AP USA site so I don't know how similar the processes were, but I made sure i had all the accounts I needed made ahead of time (like you needed a login to buy on the ap intl site) with my password and account name open in another tab, the link to the page where the LPs would be once they were up, made sure my paypal was all ready and login stored, basically just walk through the process as far as you can to make sure you know as many of the steps ahead of time.

Mine wasn't the set everybody wanted (I got the Dreaming Girl set in pink.) and it was about £70 I think. I bought a coat at the same time, so I couldn't tell you how much shipping was. Shipping for the coat, the LP and a barette was about £70 and customs fees are going to be stupidly expensive (Like, over £100 expensive.). She might've been hit by customs which is why she's marked it up.

I ordered two sets and each cost me about $250, including international shipping to the states.

I heard some Liz Lisa shops already have their LPs on sale. Has anyone here bought one or seen a blog post of the contents of them? Their website shows sample images (http://lizlisa.jp/sp/2013_happybag/?ml121222h)) but I'm curious if everyone will have a mix of items. I hope mine will arrive soon! I bought it mostly for the trunk carry.

Just the JSK or the whole pack? With how many packs got released, I'm guessing it's getting near the end. You can either buy it now before people sell it for that price or more on comm sales, or try your luck some more.

I got one for the int site for $250 shipped. If I didn't though, I'd probably pay the extra $70 for it, but only after they are for sure sold out.

I bought three LPs from the AP site for myself and two friends, and with combined shipping, each packs costs less than one from AP USA without shipping. That seems a little messed up.

Just adding in that both my meta and AP sets are marked as shipped as of this morning, got notification from meta via email.

I just checked as far as I know there's no updated shipping information on the My Account page on their site, just the email I got. Try checking your spam folder I guess. Frankly, as has been mentioned earlier in this thread, it's actually pretty unusual to get shipping notification so soon and before the package actually shows up from meta.

I just realized that my LPs will probably show up Friday or Saturday and I have both days off so I can go pick it up myself and not have to wait since I don't work anywhere near my local PO. Score!

Liz Lisa is a Japanese S/M, so if your bust os over 85cm, and waist over 65cm, you might be pushing it a bit. It depends though, some of the clothes are large/baggy because of the style, some have some stretch etc... but not all of them, so it's hit or miss.

I got my IW Lucky Pack today! Please pardon the carpet pictures taken with a cell phone; I assure you it's a very clean carpet, but right now my bed and my table are both covered in sewing supplies and my good camera is charging for ALA purposes.

This is a lucky pack A, and if anybody knows the names of these items (or what the heck the large black velvet band things are actually supposed to be for), that'd be great. Anyone received word about the Baby limited LPs released mid December? I know they said that they would ship in January, but I had to email them to get them to send me my total invoice (fucking Baby, I swear), so now I'm paranoid that I missed the email for the tracking number.

I got a Liz Lisa 5000 yen floral lucky pack, one luggage one for a friend, and a Lowry's Farm 5000 yen one.

The Lowry's Farm one is crazy- 1 leather jacket, 2 knit tops, 1 chiffon blouse, 1 black muffler and 1 leopard print shorts for 5000 yen.

You sound like a little whiny bitch. Lucky packs are pretty close to giving away clothes. How would making them unlimited help them financially? They probably hope that everyone saved up money for them and those that missed out will spend it on the sale items popping up soon.

Exclusivity works like this: They either put out 100 each of 24 dress designs each year, or 300 each of 8 dress designs each year. Sounds like they did some business statistic analysis and found out x number of dresses sell each year and more variety beats being able to get everything you want.

My dreaming girl set came in on the 26th- I ordered on the intl. site and overall it cost me around $185 (shipping blew at 56$, really expensive IMO)

Everything was packed into an AP bag The dress and shirt came in drycleaning style bags on hangers. I received everything pictured without any major deviations. The dress however, has half back shirring and a bustle, which was a nice surprise.

This year the pack reservation went online on the J-only store first. A week or two later they went onto the Intl site with no announcement or notice, and were restocked every few days, a few packs at a time. APSF got packs to release only on Jan 1st but they are the buttmonkey and only get literally a handful, and the packs from APIntl cost less even after shipping and currency exchange than APIntl, which makes sense but still sucks.

Okay, we all assume that by "Japanese site" you mean the one that's in Japanese/ships to Japan. Their international one is English and will ship worldwide, but they've just been releasing LPs intermittently and are currently showing "sold out" for all packs, as they have been for me for ages, which is why when you try to order them it really doesn't work.
