You know, when there are 2 homestuck threads autosaging in day per day, its time to give the faggots their own board and get their cancer quarantined.

I'm always jelly of chicks who can wear the men-sized broken record shirt and not have it emphasize their femininity. Not that this is a perfect cosplay in the least (they need to do a better binding job and cut the bangs more), but broken record shirt Dave is the only Dave I've never done because of the shirt troubles it gives me.

I'm sure it helps to have a more rectangular figure (my waist is 23" and my hips are 36") and properly pad your waist (it looks awful whenever I do it).

I'm thinking of taking the broken record shirt I have and hemming it shorter and bringing in the sides to better fit. Not in an hourglass way, but at least to make it less baggy.

Last week we had threads that were going on for roughly 3 days before autosaging. Sometimes the threads are fast, sometimes slow.

Moot has said he will not be making a separate board for Homestuck. /co/ has a general discussion thread that regularly autosages just like this one, and they deal with it.

Our HSG center around cosplay and the cosplayers, it's entirely board relevant, no matter how many people may dislike Homestuck.

What do you guys think of those popular cosplayers but their cosplays aren't good? Like, are they good people in general or just shitheads and are full of themselves?
I've seen people like PJ and Heaven and they seem like ok people, but their cosplays get too much attention. They really aren't that good.

They're pretty well known too so maybe theres more drama than I'm actually picking up on.

Well, Sodii/Rhapsodii is friends with Lindzar/Alyssaties and I haven't seen much drama from them.
I know that ellanutellacosplay is friends with all four of those people, and I've never heard anything bad about her.
I think Spectagoggles is friends with PJ too (though he seems to be friendly with pretty much everyone), she's on the popular side, but she's not really tangled up in anything as far as I know.

Those are really the only ones I follow who are drama-free and well-known (but not nobodies). Jeez, you picky anon.

Oh man. Aradia's horns always seem the trickiest. I've had to do them so many different ways just to make them look somewhat okay and so far I've been unhappy with a lot of them [though the customer seems happy so that's really all I can ask for.]

In terms of just people who don't use their blog for drama, not people that necessarily have no drama surrounding them, Lindzar is drama free but doesn't seem to be on much. Ceriene, katspaw, vintage-aerth, thevvioletprince and then buttpilgrim are all drama free as far as ive seen. A majority of that group is like that, really. Asspats everywhere, but no drama really. Murtunacaptor has minimal drama except the occasional personal angst post. Seerofsarcasm gets talked about on here a lot because she runs things but there's never actually any drama surrounding her. If there is she doesn't blog about it, so she's a pretty good follow. You might want to try applying more layers of the stuff, and/or sacrificing some cheap plastic brushes, cutting some of the bristles off to create a thinner tip, and using that to taper your lines a bit.

In my experience, collodion applies fine over things like Ben Nye and PAX, so you should probably be fine...? It will be a bit more prone to peeling off if you're using something like ben nye. Be really careful of how you raise your eyebrows, etc, since the less movement you get in the area, the less edge peeling and cracking you'll get

Just popped my head into this thread and saw some of the Floridastucks being talked about.
I know a few of the more or less "well-known" ones personally. Murtunacaptor and eternallyfacetious are both good overall as far as personality, but Mur does tend to be kinda preachy and eternallyfacetious posts angsty negative things about herself a lot, (as was already mentioned). I think Mira (theolivescribe) is a pretty good person, in my opinion. Tradanui and ekamanganese are pretty okay too and they do a good job of keeping themselves separated from drama online. I haven't really interacted with Cancerously in a while, but she seems alright. Seerofsarcasm actually didn't seem bad the first time I met her and her cosplays don't seem too bad to me either, but personality-wise, she's been really aggressive (both verbally and physically) lately and it's kinda scary.
Those have just been from my experiences with them over the past few years.

I am a woman, and a Sagittarius. I'd like to cosplay my "patron" troll, but I am not nearly STRONG enough to do a proper crossplay and not look stupid. I don't think you should worry about your body type as long as you look STRONG. If you're doing PAX then do some STRONG contouring, look at female bodybuilders but don't overdo it.

This is already like old news seeing how far the page has scrolled down, but I got you some deets.

I'd avoid the fuck out of her. I used to have to deal with her through RP and I know a lot of people who used to have to deal with her. She's fucking crazy. Over identifies as Karkat and thinks she's Karkat reincarnated as a girl or something(I don't know if she still thinks this way but she damned well used too). Has actually said that she thinks xenobiology fits her better.

Crazy aside, she is a huge attention whore and also thinks she's really fucking amazing at cosplay. She always talked about how she was the best seamstress amongst her group of friends and how good she was in general when most of her stuff is terrible.

But seriously, it would be best to avoid her because she's one of the type of fans who does really questionable things while "in character." I don't know if she's better about it, but while she was in APH she used to do things like kiss people without their consent (I think she still does that too, but I don't keep up with her anymore) or hit characters that her character would hit. We're not talking stage hits. We're talking actual hitting.

I'd just avoid her if only because she's also really skeevy. I want to say she might be better in person than online, but from what I've heard from people who'd downright tried to avoid her during con, it's probably not the case.

I think this is a case of Dental Distortion teeth being too large for their jaws, as far as mouth derp goes. Not much you can do about that except practicing facial expressions in the mirror to get a better idea of how your mouth moves with the teeth in.

For the eyes, a bit of definition would help them loads. Eyeliner for both, plus mascara/falsies for Fef.

I like Fef's work with the horns and wig. Eridan has that unfortunate headband-over-wig thing going on, but their horns are looking pretty good; I think if they tried an under-wig mounting method, the top of the wig would have a better shape to it.

Jade is depicted with both straight hair and wavy hair, the end. We've been saging for like 40 posts.

Ther are a few good MDstucks, but a lot of them are kind of awful. adiostoredumb and porrim are pretty alright? and i like laxita2688 who ran one of the shoots at tigercon. I've been to a few meetups though, and it's mostly a bunch of awful weebs and 20 year olds who have the maturity of teenagers
