Made some marginal progress on our Samurai Champloo group. Granted, I'm probably gonna finish far sooner than my other two group mates. I'm not making traditional Japanese clothing. HURHURHUR. Fuu has like minimal progress. Makes me a sad panda.

About 50% complete.
I need to bleach the shirt to lighten to colors.
STILL waiting on my wig.
I have a few mods to the hood I still need to do.
Shoes are drying from the wet yellow dye application

you're probably not going to want to bleach that shirt unless you know exactly what you are doing or you have a large sample piece to test with. Bleach is a tricky little bastard.

I made a mock up for these shorts today! I hadn't made shorts before so I had prepared myself for the worst - but they were surprisingly easy. (I guess it helps that they are poofy and stretchy, so fit isn't an issue)

Tomorrow i'll make them out of navy suiting and hopefully that will go as smoothly as this mock up. I got the sleeves sewn onto the jacket and did a few alterations to make the fit better, but nothing super exciting going on there.

Working on my Seymour wig. Had to figure out a way to attach everything so there we go: Wire, craft foam, and a bit of sewing. It's surprisingly comfy on my head.

Don't have the styrofoam to work on the side horn things yet but I'll be using the same method.

I've got a ten inch difference - that's pretty average. As >>6495034 said, it's mostly an illusion. The jacket has pleated side panels and the shorts poof out at the sides which makes my hips look wider.

No, I don't waist train, so I don't know much about it. There was a thread on it a while back if you check the archives you can find more info, i'm sure.

I haven't yet. Mostly because my everyday clothing is boring and casual (old navy t-shirts, gym shorts, leggings, lumpy sweaters etc.) I'm not very stylish so sewing for regular life would be boring. But I do plan on making some fancy blouses and cupcake skirts soon. Aha, thank you.

Cute! A little foundation would even out your complexion, and a tiny bit of black eyeliner around the outer corner of your eyes would make them pop and look more defined like his. Cleaning up your brows wouldn't hurt either, but as is 10/10 would bang with the jacket on.

I guess it does help she always stays on topic and doesn't contribute to drama (at least while using a trip, there's no way to monitor anonymous), as well as make good progress.

It's hard to place her exact age since she's homeschooled but I do recall her saying she was 13 on Cosplay.com at one point, and she's only been a member since 2010, so chances are she's 15 or 16 by now. I do worry about her.
