I'm most excited to get a bunch of commissioned art and prints. The current plan is to cover the walls of my sewing room in commissions by my favourite artists as well as a few I like from the AA. My favourite part of the con is always picking up my art on the Sunday of the convention and seeing how it all turned out.

Sakuracon: Sharrkan & Godoka/Ultimate Madoka

I'm excited to finally do a couple cosplay with my GF as Homura, and also to see a whole bunch of friends and finally take photos on the concrete block foundation thing. I don't really expect much from Sakuracon...

My goal next year is to take a bunch of leatherworking classes to make Morrigan from DA for PAX (or whatever it gets done for), and to do the entire costume by hand to experiment with traditional finishing techniques and tooling.

Anime Boston: Lady Loki all weekend, maybe a lolita coord depending on when and if there's a little meetup/gathering at the con.

Goals for 2013-save alot since I just paid off my car and have enough for a downpayment on a townhouse.

I got ALA off so I just get to cosplay at that one. I know I'm scheduled to work Fanime, AX, SDCC, and NYCC. Anything else is up in the air at the moment. Any out of state cons are going to be work related and I may have one or two anime cons in SoCal that I'll attend if I'm not working them.

Rest assured, not only did I get it on sale, but I intend to use it for several other outfits as well. I consider my money well spent, especially considering there's no way I'd have been able to make my own steel-boned corset with the skills I have, nor would I be willing to try.

I don't compete in masquerades or any other competitions, so I have no problems with changing things up to better suit my needs. I'm certainly going to have a lot more fun with this one than I would have trying to make my own.

I'm excited for all of them for multiple reasons! I think what will be the most important will be Stocking as I'm cosplaying it with one my closest friends as Panty and if the Sailor Moon group comes together I will have completed one of my few ultimate dream groups! Very exciting.

Become more of a seamstress and less afraid of sewing as a whole. I really want to reach a point where I can at least follow and make light alterations to various patterns. I'm hoping that asking for a sewing machine for Christmas will help encourage this. My parents are into less quantity of gifts and more of one or two expensive things now that all of us are grown, so hopefully this will work out!

The only full sized anime con in all of Atlantic Canada, I've never been but it sounds pretty fantastic, 5 hours away in Fredericton.

I know I've sold my soul to Don Kanonji for ALA as her Pitch and Tarrlok, and then to another friend of mine as his Guy Gardner for a Superbuddies group at ECCC, and then to three other friends as Olivier, Aerith and Tarrlok at Sakuracon, and then even more people as Tarrlok again at Fanime, and then another group as Setsuna Meioh for Kumoricon. When the hell am I going to get costumes in for my own enjoyment...?

I'd love to be able to go to Sakura Con plus one of the others but due to traveling costs we will have to see. Other than that probably Otafest and maybe Animethon.
