I paid around the $120 mark but I got some discounts for bulk buying a ton of Razer products and staff discounts, so can't give you an exact amount.
Since it isn't a Lycosa, I don't have any WMP problems. Only downfall to the Black Widow is the weight of it but even then, not really a problem. It's a dream to use.

I'm a fluent touch typer and find that some keyboards couldn't quite keep up. The keys both give you that proper feel and give you that proper clack that you *sort of* zone out to, but unconsciously helps you know that you've hit the key, which is handy when you're typing out long text. It's incredibly smooth for a mechanical keyboard and I have converted a few touch typer friends into buying their own also. It is just something you never realised you needed. It's really hard to describe why.

I have a cherry mx which works decently, a bit too loud for my taste though. I think these are so addicting becase they feel.. natural? Normal keyboards just don't quite cut it. Even with long nails I can type comfortably on the cherry mx.

I know that feel. With my Black Widow, when my nails have grown out a bit I don't have any discomfort or anything when typing. Natural is a good term for it, definitely a smooth action. The keyboard just feels so solid and well-constructed compared to the old mechanical keyboards of the day which just feel like flimsy bits of plastic which are so light you can't help but somehow drop them all the time. Using a keyboard that isn't my own tends to give my fingers fatigue now, because I'm so used to the easy (yet firm) sliding action of my keys, that it's so hard to give the extra push to ensure I've hit the key correctly on an old board. Just doesn't have that spring-back feeling action, it feels like you're fighting the keyboard.
