You really don't know anything about history, at all. For one thing, the Emperor was more in favour of surrender than his generals, who actually attempted a coup to stop him (AFTER THE NUCLEAR ATTACKS). Secondly, an invasion of Japan would have been an absolute bloodbath, for the Japanese especially. Check out the casualty rates for previous battles against the Japanese, and compare that against the Germans or Italians. America still uses Purple Hearts today which were prepared for the invasion of Japan, the body count would have been so high.
