this one's not bad at all, but i just wanted to share that I thought that this was one of those face swaps when I saw it for the first time

I had for a fleeting moment the idea that perhaps I would make a passable Tony Stark so I borrowed a friend's suit & facial hair. I was wrong, so wrong.

I hated every second I was in that costume but alas, peer pressure kept me in it for a whopping 4 hours. One of my friends even said "wow, you look a lot like RDJ!" No, my friend. No I do not.

The closest I ever got to being authentically Stark was that I had the desire to drink heavily in that costume.

I remember I watched like one pewdie video and found it kind of funny, so I decided to watch another. I kept waiting for him to calm the fuck down and stop trying so hard to be funny but it never happened.

Two best Friends Play, SeaNanners, and the Yogscast are a few that I watch and their stuff is all pretty high-tier.

In fact (since this is somewhat related to the thread now) I was wondering if anyone here watches the Yogscast? Two of my friends and I have had the kind-of-dumb idea to cosplay as Xephos, Honeydew, and Skylord Lysander (not the actual people making the videos, but the characters themselves from SoI)

Does anyone think that would be a good or funny idea? Or should we just ditch it now in case we end up looking like the Pewdie cosplayer up there?

Your friend's is much, much better than anything in this thread and would be well-received, I think, by most at a convention. But it's one of those things that it will be hard to attain perfection without more time and money. The jawline and hairline immediately stick out to me, as do the eyes, as someone mentioned.

Well, I'm trying to only post cosplays that are bad because they're poorly made/look like shit. I'm of the camp that believes that any character can be made to look fine on someone with the "wrong body type" with good construction. However, if someone is insecure and wants to choose an appropriate cosplay to reflect that fact, then the best Blue Badger suit I ever saw was worn by a 250+ lb person.

My cosplays are usually more along the lines of Elsa Bloodstone and Squirrel Girl. It's going to be really weird if I ever wear Black Widow to a con. Besides, hardly anybody actually calls me an Ironette when they stop me for pictures. It's always "Lady Iron Man."
