The idea being, people who have concealed-carry permits, they post their gun and their holster, because choosing/accessorizing both to fit your wardrobe/the season is actually difficult. In practice it's dimwits posting their cell phone, pocketknife and wallet, like anybody cares.

I'm at a total loss to explain why girls emptying their purses onto a desk makes for a better thread, but it actually does. Mayhap because people are actually talking about the damn cell phones in this one.

I have worked several professions where guns are a requirement. I have lived in the boonies and the inner city where guns are both an excellent deterrent and form of defense. I have had to use a fire arm, and unfortunately have had one used on me.

School bag. It's one of the two purses I have. The other one is so small I can only fit my phone and wallet in it, so this is pretty much the only one I use.

What's there is cords for iPod and school computer, hand lotion, an empty bottle of ice tea, pencil case, meds for period pains, a hair band, school books + calculator, one eraser that is not yet unpacked, two packs of Compeed which I suspect are empty (although I didn't check.), some Sensai face-paper thingies, rubbish, and the grand collection of two spoons and one butter knife.

I left out my phone, headphones and iPod for obvious reasons. That's my Picard bag (holy shit it was expensive why would i buy such a thing holy mother of fuck), with a ghost on it.

I don't have a purse because I hate carrying things and it's just an invitation to be robbed. For me, if it doesn't fit in my pocket it's not worth taking. However most of my clothes lack pockets.
So I started carrying a small change purse. It's grey denim with a rainbow peace sign on it. I bought it in Claire's. It was the only cheap thing they had that was small enough at the time.
It contains my ID, my debit card (I almost never carry cash anymore), my keys, Orbit wintermint gum and sometimes loose change or appointment cards and receipts I might want to hang onto.
In the winter or colder weather I keep it in my coat pocket or tucked under my sleeve. If I have short sleeves or I'm wearing something without pockets I just try to keep it discretely close to my person.

I grew up in the ghetto and I don't trust anybody. Better safe than sorry.

I had that, it started losing battery power like crazy after about 6 months. a shame since it was such a tank for damage, though it really bothered me that whenever I dropped it the case popped off and the battery went flying out so easily.
