I'm on vacation right now, but my room uses bedding in pic related, from Target, got it on sale! I'm getting the curtains, I just got a nice black curio-style bookcase for free (the IKEA one with 12 square boxes in black fake-wood), and I have skulls and flickering tea lights and perfumes and powders, because I'm trying to start up an apothecary-ish Etsy (which hasn't been done a million times before, right guiz?).

I still need to save up and get:

* Curtains + rod (so I don't have to use the trashy built-in pull down curtain), both a set of sheers and a set of heavier opaques.

* Faux fireplace to go where my old shelves currently still are

* A nicer guest chair

* Money for movers for the summer because right now, I live so I can pack up my dorm easily at the end of the school year and have it all fit in a van, but if I get more stuff, I'll need movers for sure, or at least storage.


How do people keep curtains up without a wall-to-wall rod, like in the OP pic? I want that!
