The problem I always find with makeup is that it looks great on my webcam and great in photos. Especially videos.

But irl? I think it starts to look like shit after a couple of hours and I'm always tempted to reapply, which is using more makeup and wasting my time. I'm most vulnerable to creases. Especially underneath my eyes, top of my nose, and laugh lines from my facial expressions. No matter what kind of primer I use it never stops these.

And I wish I can say I'm comfortable going without my makeup, but I'm not. I don't think I'm facially ugly, but my skin is horrible even with my acne medication. I have red dots/holes and really dark circle around my eyes.
I'm experimenting with some mediums. For example putting concealer on my red dots and underneath my eyes, finishing with a powder, and light eyeliner. My normal routine is full-out with foundation base, concealer, powder foundation, blush, falsies, eyeliner, mascara--the works. It takes me a good 20 minutes to put on my makeup. I know how ridiculous that is. But I wish I had the skin of other baby-faced women.

Ive only recently been using Urban Decay's All Nighter spray, but I havnt had a chance to properly test out its staying power. (colds and crap have me wiping my nose and all my makeup off with it so lol no good results)

Use a primer.

I have the same problem anon. I found fixing up make-up is a bad idea, it's better to reapply. Try using a BB cream as a base and spot apply concealer and foundation, it does wonders for your face, and if you're too lazy to apply the full face, it gives you decent coverage.

What brands of makeup are you using?? Because I used to have a similar problem and then on a whim I tried a different brand and realized 'oh shit, other stuff out there might better' and I've been on a testing spree since. Pic is the things I love the most-my makeup literally doesn't budge for the entire day now and if it does the blotting papers save it fantastically. But it really stays perfect for the most part. I have really oily skin though so keep that in mind.

What I used to do: Moisturizer, Cover Cream, Setting Powder [Mascara, Lip Blam, Lipstick]

What I do now: Pore Serum, Moisturizer/Day Cream, Primer, a MATTE foundation, a MATTE Powder [Mascara, Lip Blam, Lipstick]

A lot of the images posted in this thread are just shock value Asian ones aside from the one super model shock value which a ton of photoshop is involved with those.

Honestly, the average female wearing makeup looks almost exactly the same without makeup givin that she isn't wearing HEAVY makeup like dark eyeshadows and things. Most women just use touch up techniques to hide imperfections on their face and idk shit to brighten up their eyes a little. It's nothing new, shocking, or to be over there pissing yourself over. The odds of you encountering a makeup morph magician are low. Unless you chase an Asian. Then yeah, it's 50/50.

This is an old picture (waaaaay old) so I do it different now after learning that I have down turned eyes. I think for this photo though I vaguely remember just going over the top on the eye. I don't wear mascara on my bottom lashes. Concealer barely covers the bag under my left eye even though they aren't that bad I would say but it also leaves a yellowish tint. Over dramatized highlights of the eye and oh my god gross lipstick

I know there isn't much difference, but this is my daily make-up routine (On the days when I bother to do my make up... Mostly I look like the image on the left)
I use a pea-sized blob of Bourjois Healthy Mix foundation, or Clinique's Even Better foundation just as a concealer to reduce the look of spots and uneven skin. I know some people use a fat grape sized amount every time, but I have acne prone skin anyway.
I've never trimmed or done anything to my brows, so they do look pretty messy, but sometimes I pencil in the more sparse areas. I've lined my eyes a little more thickly than I usually do.
There's other stuff, like highlighter, and bronzer, but they don't really show up on the camera.

Your warm you should go with colors that do not have blue hue to them but more so orange.

Above your lid is a bit puffy I would avoid putting a shimmer on them just highlight under your brow bow and use mat colors anywhere you do not want to stand out. Light colors and shimmer attract light and when something is puffy the last thing you want to do is attract light to it drawing more attention. Also I really recommend you start doing side bangs because of your face shape. Square brows would look best on you because your eyes are a bit wide set but that will also narrow your nose down.

Your lips are a bit dry so I would always apply gloss after, try to stay away from blue hue glosses because you are warm. But if you prefer that better you can still get away with it.
Full coverage make sure to use these products:
Primer
Foundation ( I apply with using a sponge)
Concealer
Finish powder
For contouring and highlighting I use powders (contouring 2 shades darker than my skin, highlighting 1.5 lighter than my skin)
Then finish with finish powder again to set it

It really depends on what you want, I usually just buy big boxes of lashes at the Asian mall near where I live for 10 dollars. I've seen a bunch of ebay though I recommend you trying out the cheaper ones first but these are my favorite pair of lashes I have ever purchased in my 6 years of wearing falsies.

It really depends on what you want, I usually just buy big boxes of lashes at the Asian mall near where I live for 10 dollars. I've been told I have a diamond face as well but I have no idea what that means for contouring/brows/etc. I'm also SUPER pale so whenever I try to contour it looks like there's dirt on my face.

More or so for you would just contoured where your eyes are because of you being close set and just where the nostrils are. But I have a weird thing for thin noses. If you do not like the length of your nose do this. I'm going off my school book, almond is more or so an eye shape but its too generalized. Almond usually is an eye shadow technique used to correct downcast eyes and also make the lids stand out more.

Since your Asian your going to want to be trying to get that look of a bigger lid. Also you have a downard cast so your going to want to raise it as much as possible with an almond or half shape.

Brows: Square to get rid of the bit of wide set you have going on.
Lips: Just fill in the lower lip and do a bit on top with lip liner. Use a gloss on top after you apply your lip stick if you want to so that your lips appear less dry. Also you should exfoliate your lips they aren't like the rest of your skin they do not create oil, so you should be doing them more often, then follow up with a moisturizer.
