These things are super formal and exclusive. You need to be able to bring something appealing to even be considered for getting a trip.
It has to be a talent at a decently high level and can't overlap with any current tripfags. Believe it or not, they each have a specialization within the circlejerk. They are much more organized than you think.

Are there any /cgl/ meetups in Europe?

SoCal meetups are pretty chill, although I can sort of understand anon trepidation because of the high volume of trips. Whatever. If you see a group of hooligans having fun, don't be shy. Come over and say hello! Making friends and socializing is a bonus to any con.

What anime is this from?

At ALA12 I was at the Trip Gathering but I was really too intimidated to say anything. I mainly just passed out cookies, cake, fudge and brownies then disappeared because of my back hurting.

The people I did meet though, were super nice and chill. Really, just starting up conversations with them is the best thing you can do. Trips or not, we're all just pretty weird nerds hanging out together.

I'm hoping ALA13 I'll be able to open up more to people and bring more treats for others! [The fudge really went quickly as did my Rum-Brandy cake]

Are there any meetups in Atl? I've always wanted to cosplay but haven't gotten around to it and I don't know anyone that does it either. I've always thought of going as Sano from Rorouni Kenshin, Greed from FMA, Or Yuske from Yu Yu Hakusho, because they seemed easier get ups to create plus I have the build to be able to pull it off well and they're awesome characters
