Ideas for this? It's Meta's Rose Letter skirt. Managed to snag a special set but my wardrobe is completely black.

I bought this when I was first starting out because it was cheap. Until now I can't figure out a way to coord this. Its black, white and gray with small tiny hints of pink on some of the pictures. Help please?

I've had this OP for a while, but I just feel like it's missing something. Here's what I have so far; as in own. I usually wear a filigree heart beaded necklace and fake pearl bracelet with it, but the necklace isn't the right length for it. I definitely want to lean pearl-ish towards it though; like replacing the rhinestone hearts on the shoes with pearl hearts I can make, or a pearl necklace with a yellow rose cabochon or two...

I was thinking of a yellow cardigan of sorts that leaves the bow exposed. You may be familiar with this OP, and know that they show the bow at the underbust, but I have too much of a bust to wear it there and not look silly. Hence, I edited the stock photo for working with.

I guess I just don't know what direction to go with it, so if you want to scrap my ideas and start me over, that's fine too.

If you're sticking with my yellow cardigan idea, I'm having a hard time finding yellow cardigans that look good AND fit. I've looked and looked, but maybe I'm looking in the wrong places. So, if you wanted to go the extra five miles, if you find one that fits a 92~94 cm bust and a 72 cm waist, and link me to it, that would be absolutely spectacular of you.

Loads of colors look amazing as an accent for black and white! Royal blue, red, pink, and lavender are my favorites that come to mind, but you can make that JSK work with just about any color - just make sure you repeat it elsewhere in the outfit. I agree with the above input - the black really doesn't work. I do want to say that the hue of pink of the wig doesn't match either. And the Bodyline bag looks really cheap and clashes with the print of Milky Planet. I do think the style of jacket is awesome, see if you can find a pastel one somewhere. eBay has lots but I'm not sure about the colours. Another thing, engineer jackets look awesome with boots!

Hey guys, I need some real help. I'm basically making a (very tame and cheap) sweet loli Espeon gijinka because a friend of mine asked me to go to a con with her that's in TWO months. I'm usually more into classical and egl, so I'm not really sure on how to do some things for this. I've found a few really cheap JSKs that I'm considering, but the main problem is that I don't know what kind of blouse to use with it. With EGL, you get the frilled cuffs, tall collars, etc., but I feel like that would look really off with any of these JSKs. Halp.

1. DOL's quality is often really terrible, so I would say no, it isn't very good. If you like Sugary Carnival, I suggest saving up for a second hand AP one.

Yeah, I normally assume that with brightness, but in this case the entire shade of colour is off from the actual product, there's not much purple tone in the dress at all. I'm not super concerned about that at this point, it's more trying to coordinate with something other than black or white/cream, I've tried putting it with red/grey/dark green/brown/navy/pink and something seems to be off every time.

Waist cincher (steel boned) and pad your chest for boobage. If you look for items for drag queens that may help. That first JSK is fine, but I would get it in plain lilac rather than polka dots. F+F isn't bad quality, it's just that some of the designs are a bit iffy and they have issues with custom sizing. I think because it's not a typical style in lolita that traditional coords won't work so well. To give a punky vibe, black pleather tights and calf length docs, a black turtleneck, and (faux) leather biker jacket that ends where the skirt starts, and accessories that play up the motifs on the print.

I have a meetup this weekend and I had planned on wearing a specific pair of kitten heeled black lace up ankle boots with this coord (it's black and white classic/gothic). But I can't find the other boot. I know bodyline has a pair I could buy, but I don't have the extra funds right now to spend $60 on a pair of shoes. It looks like the light brown/tan is going to be hard to match. Just go for all pink, or cream-beige tights. I tried a 50s inspired look here, tried to use some of what you'd already got. I don't think white is a good coord colour for this, if you don't suit beige/tan/browns then pink is probably the next best option, failing that sax blue is always nice.

For the love of god please ditch the gloves. they WILL just look awkward with your bolero length and overall outfit. Also, the dress is more beige and blue and brown so the white is going to look a bit weird with it anyway...if you want a lighter colour, cream would be better, so I've done you a coord just removing the white and replacing it with "oatmeal" tights from forever21 (I would recommend a bracelet or wearing a nice watch since you've got nothing on your arms and then one with cream rather than white and more tan to make the bag match better - everything is from Forever21 and Amazon. I assumed you'd be wearing the detachable bow in your hair.

I tried a ballet-inspired coord. Thought floral tights would be a little overboard. Still not sure the BL blouse works but I left it in because mspaint is shitty.

Wish I could find some cute rose clips to put on the shoes, that would be adorable. The only ones I've found are shitty satin bridal bows though.
