It bothers me when, like in those famous nudestuck Jane pictures, a cosplayer is chubby or busty and some people say that the find that tasteless (which is rude, telling someone their body is tasteless? but whatever right) and then, infinitely worse: a million white knights jumping to the cosplayers' defense, telling her how perfect she is, then bashing flat and slender people and just being generally fucking annoying because let's face it: you only told her that because you are overweight yourself and feel secondhand bad for her being bullied.
Similarily: black cosplayers on tumblr. Everyone seems to feel the need to POINT OUT that they are pretty with every reblog because for a white, skinny girl that goes without saying but for everyone else it is something that needs to be stated first.

Also, at this point there is more people complaining about racism and fatshaming in the fandom and people forcingly changing their headcanons to POC and various bodytypes than there are people who actually do fatshaming and racist stuff.

Really it depends how much you sweat! I use Ben Nye +armsocks because I sweat like a motherfucker due to a skin condition, so Snazaroo literally just melts the hell off my face after no time at all. If you're going to sweat a shitton, use Ben Nye. If you have sensitive skin/greasy skin, use Snazaroo.

Though I always say do armsocks because they're not hard to make you just have to be patient. I think cancerously does commissions too if you just have money lying around.

At the time I bought mine (like a month or so ago) I only could find those shitty Halloween brand "vampire glasses" that everybody was/is using and I didn't like how small they were so I went for the sportier pair. Again, the checkerboard was the one I was the most worried for because I was stupid and didn't map out a grid. Each black square was drawn out with permanent marker then darkened with watered down acrylic paint to darken it but still allow light through it. On day two I just wanted to faceplant my paint pallet and cry.

not really, i looked into how other people made wings for cosplay
but is basicly a wire frame with hard paper over so it wont loose the shape [its cut in sections so it can fold down] then orange fabric over the whole thing
cut the edges of the feathers so they are all pointy looking, glue them all down and then add the fluff at the top
it looks a lot more fluffy than how it actually is cause there is a lof of fluff on my collar btw
