This is why its always better to use a wig. You never know how your hair will turn out, if it will get cut or turn the wrong colour for some reason and generally it looks better anyway.

It's really delicate fabric, and I had to remove not just the topstitching but the entire neck band. I basically had to pick it apart stitch by stitch for fear of damaging it. That's why I was making the OP face the whole time.
