I couldn't remember her cutie mark so I looked it up. The gold on the sides isn't as sloppy and doesn't really look like two dead seahorses.

If she'd stop jumping on the fucking bandwagon with whatever is popular, half of her stuff probably wouldn't look like shit. She rushes to keep up with the trend and likely doesn't care because she isn't really a fan of whatever. She was/is clearly a fan on Lativa and while her cosplay of that still looks like ass, it's better than pretty much every other cosplay she's done so far.

I wonder how long she'll get before she abandons this project.

I'm not trying to be a complete hardass to Ashley but I think she would have been better off creating a necklace for the cutie mark. Yes, I know the poop broach etc., but the sash doesn't really make sense as part of the dress.
Plus it would have been a lot easier to make.
I'm sure she could have bought some blue resin heart gem and then crafted the gold details and made a pendant.

I wouldn't be surprised if her flowery printed shirt was just a bedsheet/pillowcase, but it looks good on her! She should wear more cute stuff like that.

A REAL suicide attempt from wrist cutting would most likely need stitches and she would have most likely lost enough blood to need them to give her some.
