I know it's been brought up so many times, but let's have yet another BB cream thread!

After reading what some kind anons said about Missha Perfect Cover BB cream, I was pretty sure this is what I was going to order. I have dry skin, large pores and redness, so I wanted something with good coverage.
Then I looked at a video Ekimura made about the Skin79 Oriental Gold BB cream and the coverage is pretty good. The little cheek and lip bonus only perked my interests more. I'm a sucker for "freebies".
Has anyone here tried it? If so, share your experiences with it.

I don't know what shade to pick for Missha Perfect Cover. I can't tell if I'm NW or NC or whatever it is for MAC. I don't have a store near me, so I can't really go to find out. All I know is I'm pale and have pink cheeks. I don't know if I should pick 13 or 21.

Just telling you now: if you're pale do NOT get oriental gold. It's for someone who's NC20-25.

I just received my order of BB cream. I bought Etude House, Missha, and Skin79. They forgot the Skin79 one(boo!), but I just tried Etude House for oily skin. I freaking love it. Why I haven't tried this yet, I have no idea. It was like magic on my face. Tomorrow I'll try the Missha one and see how well that holds up.

samefag here. Where does everyone order their BB cream from? I ordered mine from http://www.asianfashioncity.com.. It came from Korea, so I'm fairly certain it's the real deal and I've heard good things about them, despite them forgetting an item in my order. If I can get BB cream for cheaper, I'd love to but I'm afraid of getting a fake.

Do you mind sharing your experience with Missha?
I got my Skin 79 Gold from the amazon seller SeoulGlamour. I've read recently that they sold fakes because the text scratched off. Mine did too, but I've ordered an authentic BB cream before. They both smelled exactly the same, had the same consistency and the same look even though the text came off easily for one.

Certainly. Hopefully this thread will still be around tomorrow. Tomorrow will be an ultimate test of Missha. I have work and it's fairly humid in my work environment. Then add general oily skin to the mix. I've heard that Missha isn't too good for oily skin, but I thought I would give it a shot. It can't be worse than Garnier's BB cream.

I get mine from cosmetic-love.com. Quite cheap and free shipping, and none of my labels have scratched off so I'm sure they're authentic. The shades available are quite limited though.

Has anyone bought any of the less commonly talked about bb creams? I was looking into some of the innisfree ones and they sound good, if a bit expensive.

I currently use kanebo freshel, but ideally I'd like one a little lighter. It's very moisurising and looks nice all day though.

i guess a way to test this is look at the veins on your arm or skin, wherever. if they look green, you are a warm skin type, with olive/yellow undertones. If you are a cool, you have blue veins and tend to have pinker undertones.
>>6260718
uh okay I am NC15 and I got Missha in #13, and it would probably suit an NC10 type best, but it works perfectly on my NC15 skin. I ordered a sample of #21 just to see but I am really liking #13 tbh

>> No.6263474

Bump!
I just put Missha No.21 on. Now I'm waiting to go to work. I don't know if it's because I'm half Korean, but the color blended well with skin. I only mention that because people have said that Missha left their skin an orangeish color. I don't see that. In fact, I think No.21 is a little too light for my skin, but I'm afraid 23 would be too dark. It's not that noticeable because it does blend in very well when you're done. It's thicker than Etude House and requires a little more pressure to rub in, which in turn accentuates any dry spots you may have. So definitely moisturize right beforehand. Since I've had it on for less than 10 minutes, I can't tell you much more. So far, I still like Etude House more because I don't have to rub so hard and now that the weather is changing I'm getting these little dry spots. Missha builds a little bit better on the dark circles under my eyes. What I may end up doing is Etude House all over my face, then Missha just under my eyes.

I have #21 and I'm part asian but have sort of darker skin in the first place. I really love mine but it makes my natural color stand out and sometimes I feel like it's a little darker than I actually like it.

>> No.6263842

i've tried missha 21,
skin 79 (pink bottle? pearl maybe?)
skin 79 vial (orange bottle)
and yangsang

missha- (17$?/ml)favorite one so far, i thought it would be too dark (im in between 13 and 21) not only was 13 hard to find because i was looking on amazon and ebay (im cheap.) 21 was actually a really good match. idk about you guys but in my experience bb cream tends to get lighter once you spread it on your skin.
skin 79 (10$/50ML)was pretty much the same as missha coverage wise, but it felt a little bit more cakey or oily. i didnt break out much with either. i'd buy skin 79 again because it's a little bit cheaper than missha.

don't buy yangsang. it's a really cheap chinese brand, i got it for like $2(50/ml), but the coverage isn't great and it's a one shade, which is a bit darker than 21 missha. moisturizes but other than that no other features, like what missha/skin 79 have (spf, whitening etc.) it does get lighter once you spread it on your skin a little.
i would get it again if it was lighter and i didn't have to layer it on to hide red parts of my face. sooo cheap.

I have the stuff in the OP's picture. It's pretty good. The tint's good for cheeks, but it looks terrible for lips. Like, so bad. My lips are a little dry, but that can't be the whole problem. It's a stupid color on lips. It looks kind of fresh on cheeks, but it looks like pepto bismal on lips. Maybe that's a good look for Korean ladies?

Samefag here. So strangely enough, despite people telling me it's terrible for people with oily skin I didn't have anymore of an issue than I normally do. It doesn't budge a whole lot and sink into fine lines, which is a good thing. After 8 hours of work it has significantly faded to me, but my coworkers told me my skin still looked good. Overall, I'm pleased with Missha but still like Etude House a little more only because I feel like it blends better and it's not as thick.

I tried the Missha perfect cover BB cream. It was alright, tried to convince myself it was awesome. But it clung to my dry spots horribly and looked powder-y.
So then I tried Clinique's BB cream. It's everything I was expecting Missha's to be, it's so much better. But not the best.

I use Missha Perfect Cover BB cream in 13 ... And I have to say I really love it. Long story short I had really bad skin and when it cleared up I was left with lots of pigmented acne scars. I had been wanting to try BB cream for a while and I figured well why not? It didn't break me out like I was afraid it might ... Though, I think I can accredit the fading of my acne scars to this BB cream because at the time, I hadn't changed anything else in my skin care routine. I haven't felt this confident with my bare skin in quite some time.

It has really good coverage and my pores literally become invisible, especially on my nose. It blends really nicely with my skin and a little goes a long way. That being said I was a bit on the fence with the finish in the beginning because I had always really liked a matte finish and this BB cream has a dewy finish for sure. I'm not sure if my skin adapted to it or what but it doesn't get oily on me like it did when I first began using it.

Pic related : My skin + Missha Perfect Cover BB cream in 13 after my scars faded ... excuse the weirdo face.

It's pretty good, though depending on the severity of your acne / size / pigmentation it really depends.

For covering up some of my active breakouts, I had to wear a concealer / thicker foundation on my problem areas. So I sort of used to use the BB cream as like a base and then where ever I needed more coverage I'd put one of my heavier foundations. Not sure if that's the way you're supposed to use BB creams but it worked haha. As of now I don't use anything other foundation / cover up on my skin besides this BB cream. Woohoo!

Also... A pic of my skin + acne scars + a few breakouts before BB cream.

Good luck !

Obviously I wouldn't be able to sell it for any cheaper than the actual Korean stores, as I'm not a bulk ebay reseller. So I'm sure buying off ebay for some products would be cheaper. I imagine it'd be best for people wanting things from multiple stores or hard to find products, not somebody looking for one thing that's already everywhere.

What % would people think is fair for such a shopping service? 10% for a single $10 product really isn't worth it.

I mean cheaper than legit resellers in our own countries. I bought skin79 off ebay once, but I'm pretty sure that I got a fake because the label scratches off.
