You can also sleep in your car if you want to save a few bucks. Nobody will give you shit if you're not loud and you don't make it obvious. You'll need a piece of plywood from home depot, a yoga mat and a sleeping bag. It's doable, even in a Honda civic.
If you're going to use an outdoor lot, you will also need a roll of reflectix (Home Depot) cut to the shape of your windows to block out the light. If you're sleeping in an underground lot, noise from the ventilators and excess heat is going to be annoying.
Another trade off is that you will need to shower in a gym. By the time you find one in a city that is new to you, take the shower and head back to the con you'll loose about an hour. You'll have to do this every day.

Is it worth it to save about a grand? Try it and find out for yourself.

MTCC North is a weird choice for a convention. It's a lobby and a couple conference rooms. There was only one worthwhile panel happening at a time, they could have just made it a single conference room. Anyone planning on going next year? I think I'll pass.

The cost was kind of steep for what was offered to be honest. I mainly attended because I missed Fan Expo and I wanted to get pictures with cosplayers. Also wanted to check out the vtuber panels to see what the buzz was about
