Just take a picture next to her without touching her. Then after a dozen of those pictures with different girls you can try to non-threateningly have an arm on their shoulders or something. idk just try to get there with baby steps and have a clear idea of the position you will take in the picture before you even ask

I've been asked by random people to take pictures of them with cosplayers on their phone. I don't like it because it means I'm taking a picture that's meant for someone else and not myself and I never know what kind of framing people want. They never seem to check the picture before thanking me and starting to walk away though. I think the next time it happens I'll just show them the photo and ask if its alright.

I really don't see the point of getting pictures of someone unless I like their cosplay, it's from the same series I'm cosplaying, and a pic of the two of us would look cool. Like a picture of some random girl on my phone is just kind of weird I at least want to be in the picture.
