I've seen the vendors in front of AX taking hot dogs directly out of unlined cardboard boxes that are sitting in the 100 degree heat, seriously not worth the risk of eating that shit. Also you've often got the same person handling filthy cash and cooking. It's less about them being Mexican and more about it being impossible to follow safe food preparation methods with that setup.
If you can walk half a mile or take a bus or uber there are thousands of places to eat in downtown, just don't be lazy and plan ahead so you don't wait until you're about to pass out before you start looking for somewhere to eat.

The only thing Monty was good at was fight animation, he knew how to compose a fight scene, have the fight flow and keep people engaged. At a certain point some other animation studio or gaming company would have probably come up to him and offered him a dream job, being the lead of an animation division as well as getting a huge pay increase.

Even if Monty was still alive and working at RT, RWBY would still be a crappy show. All Monty wanted to do was animate girls fighting stuff, everything else for the story was just filler. The first 2 season had no real story or plot, it was just random fight scenes that were connected my random scenes of people talking, and I say talking because the only VA in the show was Vic but RT fired him. So you would still have M&K writing for this show which having a AI writing a script from all the RWBY fan fiction would make a better story than what M&K could do.

No, but this is because RT is a crappy company. They had a good starting product, Red vs Blue and grew from there. The problem is they just milked RvB for as long as possible. RWBY came along and that helped them but now RvB is dead and RWBY hasn't released anything in over a year. Then you have Vicious Circle and Genlock. Remember Vicious Circle, probably not, it was a game they made, it was going to be the massive eSport game that was going to capture the world by storm and make RT a household name. Instead they sunk in millions if not into the tens of millions of dollars into it and scraped it after a few months. One YT had it where there were only 300 players online, and that is for a game that is being marketed as an online game.

Genlock was going to be their new anchor show, well it was an anchor but they dropped it when they were in the middle of the ocean and pulled the company down even further. The show got a new name from people, Generic because it was boring and there was nothing new or exciting about it. The problem was they spent a massive amount of money, another show got canceled because of it and the creator of the show was fired because he was also the head of RT animation and moved funds from other shows to Genlock.

So yeah even if Monty was around he wouldn't have saved RT.

Why didn't they work on making a RWBY game, you could call it RWBY; Vytal Tournament. Have it where you start off as a 4 person team and fight 4v4, if you win you move to the next round where it is a 2 person team that is 2v2, if you win again you go to the finals where it is 1v1. It is setup the same way the tournament was in the show. You also have it where the arena changes as well so have different environments that you fight in. You can also fight as different characters in the show. A game like this would already have the RWBY fan base and there are plenty of fans who would love to play as their favorite character.

You can also add single player options where you can have a MK style fights where you work up a ladder fighting different characters. There can also be a simulator that you could let you practice fighting different characters.

The other thing they could have done is turn RWBY into an MMORGP. You start in Beacon academy and from there you start fighting the Grimm. You can go solo or team up. Just start with that and then expand it. You would have plenty of fans who would easily start playing this.

What's the best way to meet people at AX? This will be my second ever con. I'm a social retard with no friends but I was able to meet some people to hang out with at my last con while in line for a bar, but that felt like pure luck. What are the best social events at AX, preferably with drinking?
