When I was younger I went on vacation with my family and the hotel we were staying at also happened to be holding some convention at the time. While we were checking out I remember seeing a girl cosplaying as Zelda at a Starbucks drinking a coffee. I remember her more than the trip itself.

Getting drunk at cons with cosplayers was fun, until the cons started cracking down on that shit.

This exact phenomenon inspired the cover art to pic related:
