Passing by North Carolina and heard of this event ichibancon. Anyone suggest anything?

This con is pretty much just a cash grab.

Venue is terrible. Imagine narrow hallways and tiny as rooms for events/panels. Want to see the cosplay contest? Good luck since the room will won't even hold 10% of the people attending.

Don't get me started on panels and guests. They literally will list their "Attraction Guests" on their site BEFORE they have committed to attending. The amount of open panel slots speaks for itself.

No late night dance/rave (there's been an impromptu one like once), and the few 'concerts' that they have the worst imaginable sound quality.

Only net positive is the dealer and art room usually isn't complete garbage.


Went on Saturday with a friend this year just because I was bored and had nothing else to do.

Would avoid this unless you're very local or just like to be disappointed.
