Does anyone know what the name for this type of hard case made of fairly thick plastic with 1-2 holes for a lanyard or charms would be? Searching plastic case on aliexpress just returns phone cases and I have no idea what to search for when looking on Taobao.

Oh my, I remember having these as a kid. In any case, I did some digging around and found that these are called "cigarette boxes" for some strange reason I am unable to fathom. 烟盒 if you want to search for your self, and add 挂脖 or 挂绳 for the lanyard. Not many other cigarette cases have lanyards so it should narrow down nicely.

Some sellers raise their prices so they can then 'discount' their products for 11/11. In general I've found that most sellers offer only minimal savings, maybe 10rmb per 200. I don't frequent the same stores as most other posters in this thread however, so don't take my advice as fact. If I were in your situation though I'd just buy now. Spending a few dollars more is better than missing out on something that might not restock.

I like it so far. The shipping prices are lower than that of other services. The only annoying problem I had was they included a carton box for a purse that I specifically asked them to remove, which increased the shipping fee I had to pay. Go to sugargoo's own Reddit page and you'll see lots more complaints, but take them with a grain of salt because they come from kids reselling fashion replicas.

I'm trying to buy something off Xianyu via Sugargoo. I submitted my order, paid for it, then a couple of hours later it was marked as purchased. However, when I check the Xianyu page myself, its still available. When I contacted Sugargoo about it, they said the seller had "closed the sale" or something like that. I asked them to check what was going on with the seller and let me know, but I didn't get any messages from them for some time, so I refunded the purchase and that was processed quickly.

There are a couple of the sweater I'm buying available in my size, so I tried a different listing. So far, it's been marked as purchased, but is again still available on Xianyu. What's stranger is that last week, I did this with a different item and once it was marked as purchased on Sugargoo, it also became unavailable on Xianyu. Does anyone know what's going on here? The only solution I got from asking elsewhere was someone saying he had the same issue and he had to order then refund the same listing 3 or 4 times before it was finally properly purchased. I'm certain that neither listing is someone looking to buy the item in question.

Anyone know if Sugargoo leaves reviews on Xianyu sellers? Bought a brand dress and it arrived at the warehouse. The tag, measurements, stitching, material, all the way down to how the cotton wrinkles looks legit. Still might be a replica but at least it'd be a damn good one. Update to this: I was told by Sugargoo that my package had shipped, then 20 minutes later received a message saying that they had altered the declared value to be lower because E-EMS has a maximum declared value, something not specified on the shipping methods page. Then, I asked if it's still possible to insure it for the full value and they told me that it's possible to insure up to 1500rmb, the max declared value. I asked them to insure it, saying I would pay, which they didn't respond to until ~3pm, saying that I had to purchase it myself from an obscure menu as an 'add on', but could only be done 48 hours after paying for the parcel; I the deadline was at ~2pm.

This is ridiculous. I think I'm going back to Superbuy after this shit and will be charging back everything if my package is lost.

Now to the part where I bitch. It's...so huge on me. I usually have trouble with my shoulders fitting so I picked the L size for the shoulder measurement (35-39 cm listed, and mine are 39). This shit's baggy on me. Very frustrated bc I wasn't expecting this, trying to do an exchange would be way too complicated, selling it will be another inconvenience, I was not planning on doing another order any time soon but I love the product a lot and want one that fits the properly. I just had my first order with SPREENOW and it's a nightmare.

I have been ordering from Taobao for years now and I used Taobaotrends before they shut down and then moved on to 42Agent. 42Agent's website is borked most of the time as the links to items would almost never load anymore so I decided to try out SPREENOW because their website seemed easy to use and the error with the links rarely happened.

SPREENOW's website is neat, pretty and super easy to use. The ordering and payment part is easy, talking to staff is a nightmare and the worst service I have ever experienced. On the surface, their English is pretty high level, but communication-wise they are fucking unreliable.

I made a huge order after almost a year of no Taobao. I figured it was OK because the reviews for SPREENOW were pretty high. After all the items arrived, I asked for quotes with all shipping options available. They responded the next day with only quotes for EMS. I immediately asked for the other options and it took them a long time to respond. Their website says that they will respond within office hours which is Beijing time 9:00am-6:00pm. I message them in between those time frames and watched out for their response like a hawk. Their message service is a chatbox so I made sure I responded immediately. I will respond to their messages within literal seconds and they would respond after 2 hours or the next day. It doesnt matter if my response was around 1:00pm Beijing time, they will respond only once or- if I am lucky- twice that day. They would also answer only one question and ignore everything else. It has been so frustrating. They also have very limited shipping options and it doesn't include SAL in them. It has been a literal week of trying to talk to them about shipping but their responses have been very limited and I have had only 7 responses from them. 7 short lines in the chatbox in a week and those 7 lines didnt even answer half my questions. I am frustrated and annoyed.

Is the price difference between ordering directly from Taobao and ordering through an SS significant for an American?
I always used SS in the past, I haven't ordered from Taobao in years. I'm unsure if it's significantly cheaper to order myself or if I'm okay to use an agent for a only slightly higher price.

I don't know anything about ordering through a proxy, but I can tell you that if you shop directly through Taobao, they will convert the currency to USD for you. There is a very small processing fee that scales with how much you order and they have their own proxy shipping warehouse. They only offer one shipping option though, which is EMS and it starts at 130 RMB.

Also Taobao's international reshipping warehouse will hold your orders for up to 14 days for free (afterwards there's a fee to keep stuff there) and they will combine shipping on orders for no additional fee. Usually it takes about 2-3 weeks for me to receive an order from the date I order on Taobao to getting it in the US (1 week for domestic shipping, 1-2 week for international shipping & sorting through customs).
