I have it. Unfortunately it peeled like crazy within 6 months of moderate use. The weight of it was really nice though. It doubled as a self defense because I’m pretty sure the crown icon is brass or something. It’s quite heavy.

Not really. I attempted to do that to an AP bag recently and it's nearly impossible to replace the pleather with kits. It just flakes again and looks like shit anyways.

Same. My favorite Innocent World bag which is from 2016 has started to spontaneously disintegrate in powdery flakes on the sides where the strap hardware leans while being worn and I'm super sad about it. IW is such a shitshow now that they'll probably never release such cute bags again.

Ive had varied experiences with pleather. Some of my cheap normie bags from f21 and aliexpress have lasted years even when handled horribly. And Horror Bat's leather kind of feels different? Not sure if for better or for worse.

Not sure if it's too normie for you anon, but I love vintage Coach leather bags and carry them with my classic coords all the time, especially the "murphy" bag I have in a burgundy/mahogany shade. I was lucky enough to snap mine up at a local thrift store for pretty cheap but they're all over ebay to. I'm unsure of the actual age of mine but they're really nice quality with thick, good quality leather and solid brass hardware and will last you a lifetime if you take care of them (and they also don't have obnoxious branding like a lot of modern coach bags do).
